국문 초록

본 연구는 2015 개정 가정과 교육과정에 대한 남녀 고등학생들의 요구도를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 2015 개정 가정과 교육과정의 성취기준과 교과핵심역량에 대한 학생들의 요구 정도를 묻는 측정 도구를 개발하여 ○○도 지역의 인문계 고등학교 남녀학생 610명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구 결과 고등학생들의 가정과 교육과정 성취기준에 대한 요구도는 구체적인 내용 요소 중에서는 ‘가족의 생애주기별 안전’, ‘임신 중 생활과 출산’, ‘지속가능한 소비생활 실천’, ‘가족의 치유와 회복’에 대한 요구도가 4점대로 높게 나타났다. 민주적인 가정에서 가족들과 원만하게 소통하며 지내는 학생들의 경우 그렇지 않은 집단에 비해 성취기준에 대한 요구도와 핵심역량에 대한 요구도가 높게 나타나는 경향성을 보였다. 학생들의 성취기준에 대한 요구도와 핵심역량에 대한 요구도는 전체적으로 정적인 상관을 보였다. 성취기준에 대한 요구도보다 핵심역량에 대한 요구도의 평균이 다소 높게 나온 점으로 보아 가정과 수업을 통해서 학생들에게 지식뿐만 아니라 실제적인 기능, 가치, 태도 등을 길러줄 수 있는 다양한 수업 방법과 전략에 대한 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine male and female high school students’ demand for the 2015 Revised National Curriculum of Home Economics. To address the goal, this author developed a tool to measure the degree of students’ demand for the key competencies of the subject as well as the achievement standards of the curriculum and carried out a survey to 610 academic high school male and female students residing in ○○ Province. According to the results, high school students’ demand for achievement standards is found to be high in such content elements, ‘the safety of family according to the life cycle’, ‘life in pregnancy and child birth’, ‘practicing a sustainable life for consumption’, ‘the healing and recovery of family’ received four points or higher in terms of demand. Students communicating favorably with their family members in a democratic family tend to indicate higher demand for achievement standards and key competencies than those not. Also, students’ demand for achievement standards is found to have positive correlation with their demand for key competencies in general. Because the mean of their demand for key competencies tends to be rather higher than that for achievement standards, we will have to conduct follow-up research constantly afterwards on concrete teaching methods or strategies to allow students not only to acquire knowledge but also to cultivate practical functions, values, and attitudes as well through the Home Economics subject.
