국문 초록

현행 2009 개정 역사교육과정의 <역사>, <한국사> 교과서들에서 [동사강목], [연려실기술], [해동역사]등 실학 사서에 관한 서술은 역사적 설명의 정확성과 타당성 측면, 국학 연구에 한정된 서술 관점의 측면에서 문제점을 안고 있다. 조선 후기 사학사, 즉 ‘역사학의 역사’가 지닌 교육적 가치를 살리기 위해서는 당시의 문화적 역동성과 지식인 사회의 변화를 역사적 맥락으로 삼고, 대표적인 실학 사서들의 특징과 가치를 탐구할 수 있도록 교과서 내용을 구성해야 한다. 실학 사서에 대해 ‘국 학 연구의 성과물’로서 뿐 아니라, 조선 후기 지식인 사회의 문화적 성취의 사례로 폭넓은 맥락에서 역동적으로 접근할 때, 사학사의 교재화라는 취지에 부합할 수 있을 것이다. [동사강목]은 정통론적 역사인식과 실증성 및 역사지식의 생산과 소비라 는 복합적 맥락에서, [연려실기술]은 조선 시대 지식인의 당대사 편찬이 지닌 의미를 중심으로, [해동역사]는 중국과 일본의 자료 수백 종을 활용한 역사서로 당시 지식인들의 박학과 박람에 대한 열정을 반영한 역사서라는 점을 중심으로 내용 서술을 개선 보완할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

As history learning contents, ‘history of history writings’ can be a good material to explore the intellectual climate and atmosphere of past period and the world view of intellectuals who led society at the time. This paper critically examines the descriptions about history researches and their writings of Sirhak-scholars in the late Choson Dynasty in current history textbooks by 2009 curriculum. In order to enhance the effectiveness of textbooks as a basic tool for students understanding of history and inquiry activities, we have presented contents useful for improving the accuracy and validity of future history textbook description. And in order to revitalize the educational value of the ‘history of history writings’ of late Choson dynasty, the cultural dynamics of that time and the change of the intellectual society should be taken as historical contexts. And the contents of the textbook should be structured so as to explore the characteristics and values of representative Sirhak-scholars. According to this approach, Dongsagangmok can be dealt with in the complex context of orthodox historical perception and the production and consumption of empirical knowledge in history. When dealing with the Oyonlyosilkisul, we should pay attention to the meaning of history writing for contemporaries. About Haedongyeoksa, it should be emphasized that it is a history book that compiled using hundreds of Chinese and Japanese materials. In addition, this book symbolizes what the intellectuals regarded as their main virtue, being a well-informed man with broad vision
