유아교육기관의 ‘교실’과 ‘바깥놀이터’에 대한 유아교사의 은유분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육기관의 실내외 교육공간 중 하나인 ‘교실’과 ‘바깥놀이터’에 대 한 유아교사들의 사고유형을 은유분석을 통해 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위 해 부산, 경남지역에 근무 중인 유아교사 203명을 대상으로 하여, 2015년 3월 15일부 터 3월 30일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 체계적 은유분석을 바탕으로 범 주화한 후 수치화하였다. 연구결과, ‘교실’은 또 하나의 집과 같은 공간, 배움과 성장 이 있는 공간, 작은 사회의 모습을 닮은 공간, 다양한 놀이영역을 가진 멀티체험공 간, 아이들이 있어 아름다운 공간, 불안함이 존재하는 닫힌 공간, 즐거움이 가득한 어울림 공간으로 인식하고 있었으며, ‘바깥놀이터’는 자유와 해방의 공간, 불안이 숨 겨진 위험한 공간, 누구에게나 최고의 즐거움을 주는 공간, 살아있는 배움의 공간, 다른 느낌 같은 공간, 함께 해서 좋은 공간으로 보고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 유아교사가 바라보는 교실과 바깥놀이터에 대해 이해할 수 있었으 며, 이를 토대로 유아교육기관에서의 실내외 공간구성에 대한 시사점을 얻고 유아교 사의 실내외 공간 활용 역량을 강화하는데 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to investigate the thoughts pattern of infant teachers with respect to indoor and outdoor space of children education institute through the metaphor analysis method. For this purpose, 203 of infant teachers were selected from Busan and Gyeongnam area and Data was collected from Mar. 15 to 30, 2015. The collected data was categorized and quantified through systematic metaphor analysis. As a result of study, investigating the thoughts pattern of infant teachers for educational space with the classroom and outdoor playground perspective, in case of classroom it was categorized into 7 cases 1)such as a space like second home, 2)a space with learning and growth, 3)a space that resembles a small society, 4)a multi-experience space that has various amusement territory, 5)a beautiful space due to children, 6)a closed space that anxiety exists, 7)a space with affirmative energy. And it was categorized into 6 cases, in case of outdoor playground, 1)such as a space of freedom and liberation, 2)a dangerous space that anxiety was hided, 3)a space with the best pleasure 4)space with living learn, 5)such as a different like same, 6)a space for getting along with. The result of this study can be used as a fundamental reference for investigating the direction in space configuration of indoor and outdoor at infant education institutes and for strengthening the space utilization capability of infant teachers.
