순회교육 담당교사의 경험과 인식

국문 초록

본 연구는 일반초등학교 특수학급에 근무하며 순회교육을 실시하는 특수교사를 대상으로 순회교육을 통하여 경험하는 것은 무엇이며 경험은 이들의 행동에 어떤 변화를 주고 어떤 인식을 갖게 하는지에 대하여 초점을 두었다. 연구의 대상은 충청 남도에서 분리교육형 순회교육을 담당하는 공립 초등학교 특수교사 10명으로 면담 시간은 약 30분에서 1시간정도 소요되었다. 연구결과 면담참여자들은 자신의 노력 만큼 순회교육의 성과가 높지 않으며 순회교육으로 인해 학교에 적응할 수 있는 기 회를 놓칠 수 있다고 인식했다. 또한 정부의 지원과 개인적 전문성이 부족하여 순회 교육을 적절하게 운영하기 어렵다고 인식하였다. 끝으로 순회교육은 구조적·운영 적으로 개선되어야 할 문제가 많지만 순회교육은 효과적인 정책이며 특수교사로서 보람을 느낄 수 있는 통합교육정책으로 인식했다.

영문 초록

This study focused on what special education teachers experience through itinerant education and how experience changes the behavior of these teachers and what kind of awareness they have. The subject of this study was 10 itinerant education teachers in public elementary school in Chungcheongnamdo and interview time was about 30 minutes to an hour. The result of study, participates recognized there is little to show for the hard work. and they can lose chance to adjust to school. Moreover, they said itinerant education is hard to run because of government s lack of support and personal professionalism. In conclusion, they said itinerant education has a lot of problems and should be reformed structurally and operationally. However, itinerant education is an effective policy and for the special education teacher they said it can be useful in integrated education.
