국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 진로결정수준에 있어서 정서지능과 사회적 지지와의 관련성에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위해 241명의 예비유아교사들을 대상으로 2016년 9월동안 진로결정수준, 정서지능, 사회적지지에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였고 자료를 분석 하였다. 연구결과 예비유아교사의 정서지능 및 사회적 지지는 진로결정수준과 통계 적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 진로결정수준을 의미 있는 수준 으로 예측하고 있었다. 이러한 연구결과는 예비유아교사들의 합리적인 진로결정을 위해 진로상담의 중요성 및 진로교육에 관련된 정보의 제공이 중요함을 시사하고 있으며, 이와 더불어 진로와 관련된 정서적이고 환경적인 지원체제 마련의 중요성을 보여주고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship among the emotional intelligence, social support and career decision level of the pre-service early childhood teachers. 241 pre-service teachers were sampled for this study in September 2016. A questionnaires consists of emotional intelligence scale, social support scale and career decision level scale. Data analysis was conducted by using correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis. The major findings were as follow. First, emotional intelligence and social support including sub-domains had positive relationship with career decision level. Second, in the result of multiple regression analysis, the emotional intelligence and social support had a meaningful static relationship to the career decision level. Specially in the aspect of the sub-domains of the emotional intelligence, appraisal and expression of emotion in the self and use of emotion to facilitate performance had greater effects on their career decision level. Parents support, the sub-domain of the social support, had greater effect on their career decision level. The study showed the important of the emotion and social environment in career decision for the pre-service teachers. Based on the results of this study, educational program development for improvement of career decision should include the emotional and environmental elements with cognition.
