국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 자아정체감과 자기조절능력이 민주시민의식과 공동체의식에 미치는 영향을 파악하여 청소년의 공동체의식과 관련된 교육과정을 구성하는데 기초자료를 제공하는 것이다. 연구의 대상은 서울과 경기도에 거주하는 청소년 122명이며, 자아정체감과 자기조절능력과 민주시민의식 및 공동체의식 관련 설문지를 활용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료를 분석하기 위하여 상관분석과 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 청소년의 자아정체감 하위요인과 자기조절능력의 자기조절양식은 민주시민의식 및 공동체의식의 일부 하위요인과 정적 상관이 나타났다. 반면 자기조절능력의 의지적 억제양식은 민주시민의식 및 공동체의식의 일부 하위요인과 부적 상관이 나타났다. 둘째, 청소년의 자아정체감과 자기조절능력의 일부 하위요인은 민주시민의식에 유의미한 영향을 주는 요인으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년의 자아정체감과 자기조절능력의 일부 하위요인은 공동체의식에 유의미한 영향을 주는 요인으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of adolescent s self-identity and self-control ability on democratic citizenship and community consciousness. This was to provide basic data for the formation of the curriculum related to the consciousness of the community. The subjects of this study were 122 youths living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. This study collected data by using questionnaires related to self-identity, self-control ability, democratic citizenship and community consciousness. Correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed to analyze the data. The results were as follow. First, the sub-factors of self-identity of adolescents and the self–control style of self-regulation were positively correlated with democratic citizens consciousness and some sub-factors of community consciousness. On the other hand, the self-regulated abstinence style of self-regulation had negative correlation with some sub-factors of democratic citizenship and community consciousness. Second, some sub-factors of self-identity and self-regulation ability of adolescents showed a significant influence on democratic citizens consciousness. Third, some sub-factors of self-identity and self-regulation of adolescents showed significant influence on community consciousness.
