경험학습모델(LEAPS)의 개발적 사례연구와 통합교과 설계

국문 초록

교육에는 늘 혁신의 가능성이 있고, 새로운 시대적 요구들과 본원적인 교육목적을 달성하기 위해서 교육자는 보다 효과적인 교수-학습 관계와 체계를 개발하고 실현하는 혁신여정을 필요로 한다. 본 연구에서는 창의성과 혁신에 관한 융합적 교양수업과 경영학 전공수업에서 통합적 경험학습(LEAPS)모델을 통한 학습활동 프로그램을 개발하였다. 수업에서 가용한 학습자원들과 교육경험들을 활용하여 주어진 환경에서 최상의 학습환결을 조성하는 시도를 하였다. 가상강좌의 자원(SPOC, MOOC, TED 등)과 교수자의 교육자원, 캠퍼스와 학과의 교육연계 가능성 탐구 및 학습자와의 상호작용, 학습자 중심의 학습여정(Learning Journey)을 설계하였다. 완전한 도약학습(LEAPS)은 Kolb 교수가 종합한 경험적 학습이론에 기반하여 경험적 차원과 개념적 차원, 성찰적 차원과 실천적 차원을 각각 심화하면서 통합해가는 학습여정을 촉진하였다. 외부학습자원의 활용, 탐구적 토론, 사례조사, 팀워크와 문제기반 학습의 순환적 결합을 통해 태도, 관점, 역량의 도약(LEAPS)을 가능하게 하는 선순환의 전환학습을 실제 개발사례를 제시하고 있다. 지식과 정보전달의 교과수업에서 보다 가능성과 몰입을 확장하고 심화하는 수업의 학습활동 프로그램을 개발하고 이를 적용하였다. 교수-학습활동으로 이루어진 설계공간에서 새로운 요소들을 도입하고, 시스템적으로 제안할 뿐 아니라, 이를 지속적 학습과정의 순차성(Sequentiality: eg. LEAPS)을 통해서 도약적으로 학습의 효과를 입체화할 수 있는 가능성을 포착하였다. 특히, 지식에 대한 기억보다 실제적 기술집합을 역량으로 익히고 적용하는 학습전이가 중요한 교과와 학습자의 실질적 성장 가능성을 높일 수 있는 교수-학습법으로 제안하였다. 단일 사례조사 연구 및 개발프로그램이지만, 학습과정의 복합적인 측면의 설계공간을 학습자 관점을 도입하여 활성화하고 실질적이고 활용가능한 아이디어 집합들을 제공하는데 연구개발의 의미를 가진다.

영문 초록

There are innovative opportunities in the education and the educator should embark the innovation journey to meet the new challenge in the educational environment and generic purpose of higher education bette by designing and developing more effective teaching-learning relations and systems. In this study, the integrative experiential learning model, that is called as ‘LEAPS’. 0The appropriately designed learning environment could maximize or optimize the learning effects of the engaged students who could embard the learning journey in and outside of classroom and the campus. LEAPS model is based on the integrative seminal work of Kolb that reflect the perspective of Piaget and Dewey that integrate the elements of experiential learning and problem solving process. The cyclic integration of LEAPS cycle could meet most of the student needs holistically. So the five learning modes inspires different approaches and programs all along the learning weeks and the semester: L type, E type, A type, P type, and S type learning activities like lecturing and listening to open educational resource(OER), exploring and examining the possibilities, acting and apprehending concretely, perceiving and building perspective, synthesis of senses, stories and scripts. This study aims to design and develop theory and practices in a new program to expand the possibilities of growth and deepening the learners’ engagement rather than transmitting knowledge and information. After all, it suggests an active design space to accommodate new elements for the better teaching-learning system and captures the cubical learning effects stemming from the sequentiality of LEAPS learning cycle. This model could be more relevant in the context of developing skillsets and realizing the growth potency of learners. Although this is a single case study research and development program, there are meaningful implication to invigorate the complicated design space of learning process from learners’ perspective and effective practices as idea sets. This case study research and design of coursework provide the meaningful models and programs for the management education.
