국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 노년기 가족관계만족과 주관적안녕감의 관계에서 여가활동만족의 조절효과를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 한국복지패널 12차년도 자료를 활용하여 연구대상과 변인을 선정하였다. 연구대상은 12차년도 한국복지패널 자료 중 만 65세 이상에 해당하는 연령으로만 선정하였으며, 여성 3,145명, 남성 1,972명으로 총 5,117명이었다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 가족관계만족과 주관적안녕감의 관계에서 여가활동만족은 조절효과를 지니는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 노년기 가족관계만족이 주관적안녕감에 미치는 효과는 여가활동만족에 따라 다름을 의미하는 것이다. 구체적으로는 가족관계만족이 높더라도 여가활동만족이 낮으면(-표준편차) 가족관계만족이 주관적안녕감에 미치는 효과는 작지만, 가족관계만족이 높고 여가활동만족도 높으면(+표준편차) 가족관계만족이 주관적안녕감에 미치는 효과가 크다. 따라서 가족관계만족과 주관적안녕감의 관계는 여가활동만족에 따라 다르다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 의의와 제한점은 이러한 결과를 기초로 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the moderating effect of leisure activity satisfaction on the relationship between family relation satisfaction and subjective well-being among Korean older adults. For this purpose, the research objects and variables were selected from the 12th year data of the Korea Welfare Panel. The objects of this study were selected only for those who were aged 65 and over, with 3,145 women and 1,972 men, totaling 5,117. The results of the analysis are as follows. Leisure activity satisfaction was found to have a moderating effect on the relationship between family relation satisfaction and subjective well-being. This result indicates that the effect of family relation satisfaction on subjective well-being among aged 65 and over depends on leisure activity satisfaction. Specifically, the effect of family relation satisfaction on subjective well-being is low in case of low leisure activity satisfaction (- SD) even if family relation satisfaction is high. On the contrary, the effect of family relation satisfaction on subjective well-being is large in case of high leisure activity satisfaction (+ SD). The research shows that the relationship between family relation satisfaction and subjective well-being depends on leisure activity satisfaction. Based on these results, the implications and limitations of this study are suggested.
