국문 초록

본 연구는 정신장애인이 인식하는 사회적 지지가 증상으로 인한 일상생활 제한을 매개하여 사회에서 존중받고 있다는 인권 인식의 경로를 검증하여 정신장애인의 인권 향상을 위한 대안을 마련하기 위해 수행하였다. 이를 위해 2021년 한국장애인개발원 장애인 삶 패널조사 4차 자료 중 263명의 정신장애인 자료를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 25.0과 Amos 23.0 프로그램을 활용하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정신장애인이 인식하는 사회적 지지는 가족, 주변인, 사회복지종사자 순이었다. 둘째, 사회적 지지, 일상생활 제한, 인권 인식은 유의미한 상관성을 나타내었다. 셋째, 사회적 지지는 일상생활 제한을 낮추어 인권 인식에 긍정적 영향은 나타내는 완전매개 모형이었다. 이상과 같은 결과를 바탕으로 정신장애인의 지지체계 강화를 위한 제안과 서비스 제공자의 인권 기반 실천 접근의 중요성, 권익옹호를 위한 자원 활성을 위한 함의를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study confirmed the way to perceiving human right as being respected in society through the social support perceived by people with mental illnesses mediating restrictions in daily life due to symptoms. The purpose of this study was to identify these practices and provide alternatives to improve the human rights of people with mental illness. For this purpose, we used the data of 263 people with mental disabilities from the fourth data set of the 2021 Korea Disabled Development Institute’s panel on the life of Persons with Disabilities. The data were analyzed using the SPSS25.0 and Amos 23.0 programs, and the results of the shown below. First, the social support of people with mental illness was in the order of family, neighbors, and social workers. Second, significant correlations were discovered between social support, daily life restrictions, and human rights awareness. Finally, social support was a complete mediator model that positive influence human rights perceptions by reducing daily life restrictions. Based on the results, proposals were made to improve the support system of people with mental illnesses, the import of service providers’ approach to human rights-based practices, and the implications for encouraging resources for rights advocacy.
