국문 초록

本論文は金原ひとみの 『腹を空かせた勇者ども』 をもとに、コロナ禍の中で思春期を過ごす10代の青少年たちに注目し、考察したものである。デジタルネイティブとも呼ばれ、Z世代とも呼ばれている彼らは、パンデミック危機の中でもSNSを自由自在に活用しながらオンラインとオフラインの境界をなくし、｢群れる｣ことを重視したニューノーマルの日本社会を作り上げている。 その一方で、Z世代は既成の世代と比べインターネット空間での危機管理能力が低いことが見受けられる。その結果SNS上でのトラブルが絶えないことも、彼らが持つ問題の一つである。またコロナ禍によって、オフラインよりオンラインでのつながりが多かった彼らは、思春期という重要な時期に健全な対人関係を築くことに限りがあったことも事実である。 『腹を空かせた勇者ども』 の主人公である玲奈は、Z世代のヒエラルキーの頂点に位置し、オンライン上でも多数のつながりを維持する。しかし彼女は友人との間に生じた葛藤を、オフラインで解決している。｢群れ｣社会が当然となったZ世代にとって、オフラインでの対話こそポスト·コロナ社会で重要なことなのである。

영문 초록

In this paper, I examine Hitomi Kanehara’s Hungry Heros ti analyze adolescents in their teens who survive the COVID-19 pandemic society. They are called digital natives as well as Generation Z, and they make efficient use of social media even during the pandemic crisis, blurring the boundaries between online and offline and constructing a new from of Japanese society, where the ‘gathering’ is highly valued. On the other hand, Generation Z tends to have lower skills to deal with crisis in the online space, compared with the preceding generations. Consequently, they often cause troubles on social media. Also, due to the pandemic, they are more subject to online interactions than offline interactions, and they did not sufficiently construct sound relationships with others at times of adolescence, their crucial period. In Hungry Heroes, the protagonist Rena, is at the pinnacle of the hierarchy among Generation Z and maintains a number of connections even in the online space. Still she resolves problems with her friends offline. This shows that for Generation Z, who considers the ‘gathering’ society a natural form of society, offline dialogue plays an important rule in post-COVID societies.
