국문 초록

목재 홍여하는 조선 중기 壬･丙兩亂 후 혼란한 시대 상황 속에 영남지역 퇴계학파를 이끌었던 문인이었다. 그의 문집 『木齋集』에는 258題 391首의 적지 않은 한시가 수록되어 있다. 그중에서 그의 생각과 가치관의 연원은 그가 남긴 和次韻詩에서 확인할 수 있다. 왜냐하면 화차운시는 깊고 친밀한 관계 속에 애정을 두고 타인에게 지어주는 형식으로, 한 인물이 어떤 인물과 어떤 관계 속에 밀접하게 교유했으며 교유를 통할 때 그 의식은 어떠한 흐름으로 작품에 반영되어 창작되었는지 확인할 수 있기 때문이다. 또, 화차운시에서는 한 인물이 당대를 살아가며 소통하고 교유했던 인물에게 영향을 받았던 가치관과 감정, 사상뿐만 아니라 이전 선대 인물에게 받은 영향에 대해서도 아울러 살펴볼 수 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 목재의 한시 세계를 연구하는 과정의 하나로 『목재집』에 수록된 화차운시의 양상을 살펴본 뒤, 선대와 당대 문인들과의 화차운시 교유에 나타나는 정회와 의식지향에 대해서 검토하였다. 목재의 화차운시에서 보이는 가장 중점 의식지향은 첫째, 선현에 대한 동경의 마음을 표현하고자 하였고, 둘째, 화차운시를 통해 정서적 교감을 할 수 있었으며, 셋째, 도학적 군자의 삶에 대한 사명감을 다시 한번 확인하고 고취할 수 있었으며, 넷째, 자신의 시적 재능을 과시하고 시작 성취의 욕구를 해소하고자 하였다는 점으로 특징지을 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Mokjae(木齋) Hong, Yeo-ha(洪汝河) was a writer who led the Toegye School(退溪學派) in the Yeongnam(嶺南) region amid the chaotic situation after the Imbyeong-yangnan(壬丙兩亂) in the middle of the Joseon Dynasty(朝鮮). His literary collection 『Mokjaejib(木齋集)』 contains quite a few Chinese poems on 258題 and 391首. Among them, the origin of his thoughts and values can be confirmed in his the Echoing and Rhyme- borrowing poems(和次韻詩). This is because the Echoing and Rhyme- borrowing poems(和次韻詩) is a form of giving affection to others in a deep and intimate relationship, and it is possible to confirm how a character had a close relationship with a character and how the consciousness was reflected and created in the work when communicating. In addition, in the Echoing and Rhyme-borrowing poems(和次韻詩), we can look not only at the values, emotions, and thoughts that a character was influenced by a person who communicated and exchanged during the contemporary(당대), but also at the influence of a previous generation(선대) person. Therefore, this paper examined the aspects of the Echoing and Rhyme- borrowing poems(和次韻詩) contained in the 『Mokjaejib(木齋集)』 as one of the processes of studying the world of Mokjae(木齋) poetry, and then reviewed the adjournment and consciousness orientation in the teaching of the Echoing and Rhyme-borrowing poems(和次韻詩) with writers from the previous generation(선대) and contemporary(당대). The most important consciousness orientation seen in the Echoing and Rhyme-borrowing poems(和次韻詩) of Mokjae(木齋) first, it was to express one's admiration for ancient sages(先賢), second, emotional communication was achieved through the Echoing and Rhyme-borrowing poems(和次韻詩), and third, it was possible to confirm and inspire the mission of the Taoist man of virtue(君子)'s life, and fourth, it was characterized by trying to show off one's poetic talent and relieve the desire to achieve a Make a poem(詩作).
