국문 초록

민요 <흥타령>은 남녀의 만남과 이별에서 발생하는 정서를 효과적으로 표현함으로써 흥과 한이 어우러진 독특한 분위기를 자아내는 노래이다. <흥타령>은 민요의 현장을 떠나 도시의 유흥공간에서 전문적 소리꾼들의 잡가로도 불렸다. 잡가 <흥타령>은 문학적 진정성이 약화된 관습화된 노래이지만, 많은 인기를 누렸던 노래이다. 대한매일신보 <흥타령>은 가창되지 않는 개인작이고 계몽적 목적으로 창작되었지만, 여러 가지 전통 시가 장르와 결합하여 독특한 형태의 다양한 시가를 창출하였다. 결론적으로, <흥타령>은 기존의 시가 장르들과 자연스럽게 용해되고 다양한 창작이 이루어져 19세기말·20세기초 문학사의 소용돌이 한가운데에서 새로운 흐름을 만들어 내는 활력소 역할을 했다고 평가할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The folksong is a song with the unique atmosphere that fun and regrett harmonized with by expressing emotion effectively to occur by an encounter and the separation of the man and woman. left the spot of the folk song, and it was sung with Jabga(雜歌) of professional singers in the entertainment space of the city. Jabga is the song that the thruth of the literature was made weakened and it was made custom. But It was the song which enjoyed much popularity. Daehanmaeilsinbo was personal product and was created for an enlightening purpose that it was not sung song, but It was combined with various traditional poetry genres and made various poetrys of unique forms newly. In other words, was dissolved with existing poetry genres naturally, and various creation makes ends meet. Therefore, I can evaluate did an animator duty to cook up a new flow in the whirlpool of the history of literature in the end of 19th century and the beginning 0f 20th century
