국문 초록

이 연구에서는 1950년대 김수영과 김춘수 시에 드러나는 공간과 현실에 대한 인식을 헤테로토피아를 통해 고찰하고자 한다. 등단 시기뿐 아니라 감옥이나 수용소 생활을 동시에 겪은 두 시인의 역사와 현실에 대한 비판적 성찰들이 이질적이고 반(反)배치의 장소인 헤테로토피아에서 잘 드러나고 있다. 김수영 시의 포로수용소와 도서관 그리고 거리와 같은 규율화된 공간이나 현실의 다성적 표상의 헤테로토피아는 비판과 대안의 여지를 함축하고 있다. 이에 반해 김춘수는 일본 세다가야서(署)에서의 감옥 생활과 전후 고향과 같은 근원 상실의 장소들은 자연 회귀로서의 신화와 원형적 상상을 통해 잃어버린 세계에 대한 실존적 성찰들을 보여주고 있다. 두 시인의 시에 드러나는 헤테로토피아는 각각 현재와 과거의 시간과 관계되는 부정과 원형의 장소이다. 그것은 개인들의 윤리적 실존을 위협했던 역사와 전후 폐허의 현실에서 시적 자아의 불안이나 공포를 극복하기 위함이었다. 나아가 이것은 동시대에 겪었던 경험적 현실을 병치시킴으로써 인간의 가치와 생명을 위협하는 근대의 부조리함에 대한 비판적 성찰인 것이다. 따라서 이질적인 탈장소로서의 헤테로토피아는 두 시인의 시에 드러나는 불가해성에 대한 새로운 접근 방법이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

This study intends to investigate the perception and poetic sensitivity of the space revealed in poems by Kim Soo-Young and Kim Chun-Soo in the 1950s through heterotopia. Critical reflections on the history and reality of the two poets who not only started their literary career but also went through both prison and prison life at the same time are evident in heterotopia. Heterotopia revealed in poems by Kim Soo-Young as the prison camp, the library, and the city streets under modern planning carries out the meaning of denial to the social life of fatigue or despair of urban life. On the other hand, Kim Chun-soo's absence consciousness by prison life in Sedagayashi, Japan, and the absence consciousness due to the loss of hometown after the war show the appearance of a original form of heterotopia, such as a childhood hometown or a mythical space as a return to nature. The two different heterotopias that are revealed in poems by the two poets were a space of resistance and opposition to overcome the history of threatening the true ethical existence of individuals and the fear or anxiety of the empirical self in the reality of postwar ruins. Furthermore, they are critical reflections on the absurdity of modern times that threat human values and life by juxtaposing the experiential reality that people have experienced in the same period. Heterotopia as a heterogeneous place will be a new research method to approach the incomprehensibility revealed in the poems by the two poets.
