영문 초록

This study explores enhancing experiential learning in Korean language and culture for overseas students through immersive VR content focused on cultural heritage, leveraging affordable VR headsets and resources from public institutions. It aims to broaden students’ knowledge and practical skills in Korean studies by integrating immersive technologies into education. A classroom model utilizing VR in Korean education was tested at Chinese Culture University in Taiwan, assessing its educational impact and student satisfaction through surveys. Results showed that VR increased student engagement and knowledge, piqued interest in cultural heritage, and offered career insights. However, challenges such as fatigue from extended VR use, the difficulty of content, and limitations in academic assessment were noted. Despite these issues, the study underscores VR’s potential in enriching learning about Korean cultural heritage, highlighting the importance of balancing technological integration with interactive education principles. This research contributes to the development of immersive content in educational settings, suggesting pathways for future advancements.
