기행문 『고조노시오리』에 나타난 ‘마음’에 관한 고찰

국문 초록

This paper is an attempt to find out the characteristics of “Kozono- Siori” through critical reviews of pervious studies on this imaginary traveler’s journal. Especially, the expression of “Mind” mentioned in my previous article was contemplated in relation to Saigyo Hoshi, a Buddist priest. Also, I tried to extend the meaning of the term “Irou(遺漏)”(the omission) which the author wrote at the end of the work. Previous studies have accepted the meaning of “Irou” as it is and estimated “Kozono-Siori” as just a supplementary work to “Akiyamanoki”, but these ideas are worth reconsidering. Though both “Kozono-Siori” and “Akiyamanoki” were written as traveler’s journals, they show a number of discrepancies in terms of materials, narrative styles, expressions, among other things. And, in my opinion, the expression of “Mind” depicted in the title and the inside of “Kozono-Siori” have relations with Saigyo Hoshi’s work. In future research, I will consider how “Mind” of the writer was being drawn in the work through comparative examinations of other traveler’s journals of Akinari.

영문 초록

本論文では、従来の『去年の枝折』に関する研究の検討を通じて、空想旅行記として持つ作品の特徴の究明を試みる。特に、以前の論考で言及した｢心｣の表現について、西行との関連から考察を行った。また、作品の末尾に書かれた｢遺漏｣の言葉についても意味の拡張を試みた。先行研究において、｢遺漏｣の意味をそのまま受け入れ、『去年の枝折』の性格が『秋山記』の補完的作品として評価することについては再考の余地がある。『去年の枝折』と『秋山記』は、一度の旅をモチーフとして制作された紀行文ではあるが、扱っている内容と文体の叙述表現により異なる面を見せているからである。また、『去年の枝折』の命名と作品の中に描かれている｢心｣の表現について、西行との関わりを積極的に取り入れる必要があると思う。今後、秋成の他の紀行作品を検討することで、作者の｢心｣がどのように描かれているのかを総合的に考えてみたい。
