국문 초록

본 연구에서는 2011년 1월부터 시작된 사업체 노동력조사(Establishment Labor Force Survey, ELFS) 자료의 분석을 위한 임금 및 근로시간 추정방안을 제시하였다. 전 달 통계를 활용한 기존의 사업체 임금ㆍ근로시간 조사 자료의 분석을 위해 사용된 비추정 방안이 보조정보의 불완전성과 각 관심변수 별 추정량 산출을 위해 서로 다른 가중치를 사용하는 단점이 있는 것에 비하여 본 연구에서 제시되는 추정방안은 사업체 노동력조사를 통해 매 월 동시에 측정되는 상시 근로자수를 사용하여 모든 관심변수의 모수를 추정할 수 있는 간단한 회귀추정 방안이다. 임금 및 근로시간의 모집단 총합의 추정량으로 기존의 추정량과 제시된 회귀추정량을 모의실험과 실제 2011년 1월~4월 사업체 노동력조사 자료를 이용하여 비교하였다. 제시된 회귀추정량은 동일 조사로부터 관측된 상시 근로자수를 보조정보로 이용하여 모든 관심 변수의 모수를 추정할 수 있을 뿐 아니라 기존의 비추정량과 유사하거나 우월한 통계적 효율성을 나타내고 있다. 본 연구에서는 또한 제시된 회귀추정량의 통계적 정도를 측정하기 위한 분산추정방안도 제시하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, we suggested an estimation procedure to analyze the Establishment Labor Force Survey (ELFS) data to calculate the statistics about wages and hours worked. Ratio estimator, that is used to estimate wages and hours worked until 2010, used previous month statistics of the variables of interest as auxiliary variables and thus separate derivation of the weights for each variable of interest is required. Unlike the ratio estimation, the proposed estimator, regression estimator used the number of employees as an auxiliary variable and provide a single set of weights that can be used for the calculation of statistics for all variables of interest. We compared several estimation strategies through a small simulation study and also applied ratio and regression methods to the 2011 ELFS data. The proposed regression estimator is simple to calculate and its performance is comparable to ratio estimator in all considered variables. We also provided the variance estimator of the regression estimator.
