보건소 금연클리닉 6개월 금연성공자의 재흡연 관련요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 보건소 금연클리닉의 6개월 금연성공자의 재흡연 관련요인을 파악하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 B시 소재 5개 보건소의 금연클리닉에 등록하여 6개월 금연 성공 후 1년이 경과한 성인 남자 612명이다. 연구결과 재흡연과 관련된 요인은 40세 미만 연령(OR: 2.413, 95% CI: 1.300-4.477), 중간수준의 가구소득(OR: 0.511, 95% CI: 0.321-0.813), 고위험 음주(OR: 1.629, 95% CI: 1.123-2.363), 부적절한 스트레스 관리(OR: 1.892, 95% CI: 1.312-2.728), 저강도 행동요법(OR: 2.189, 95% CI: 1.514-3.164), 고강도 니코틴대체요법(OR: 2.103, 95% CI: 1.324-3.339)으로 확인되었다. 따라서 재흡연을 감소시키기 위해서는 재흡연 고위험군에 대한 체계적인 관리와 함께 재흡연과 관련된 음주 및 스트레스 관리 등의 다양한 요인을 고려한 포괄적인 재흡연 예방 및 관리프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors related to smoking relapse among six-months quitters in smoking cessation clinics of public health centers. The data were collected from 612 six-months quitters and analyzed using multiple logistic regression. The factors related to smoking relapse were age less than 40 years (OR: 2.413, 95% CI: 1.300-4.477), middle level of house income (OR: 0.511, 95% CI: 0.321-0.813), high risk alcohol drinking (OR: 1.629, 95% CI: 1.123-2.363), poor stress management (OR: 1.892, 95% CI: 1.312-2.728), low intensity level of behavioral therapy (OR: 2.189, 95% CI: 1.514-3.164), high intensity level of nicotine replacement therapy (OR: 2.103, 95% CI: 1.324-3.339). For reducing smoking relapse, it is necessary to monitor of high risk group of smoking relapse and develop the comprehensive smoking relapse prevention program for regarding of the factors related to smoking relapse.
