정신장애인의 극복력에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 정신장애인의 극복력을 파악하고, 극복력에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위한 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 총 6기관의 정신장애인 200명이며, 자료수집은 자가보고식 설문도구를 사용하였다. 연구결과 정신장애인의 극복력은 평균 115.06±29.43점, 극복력의 시각아날로그 척도(VAS) 값은 5.83±2.68점, 자아존중감은 27.93±4.96, 가족관계의 문제성은 24.40±12.27점으로 나타났다. 과거 직업, 종교, 학력, 자택유무, 동반질환, 약물중단이 정신장애인의 극복력과 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 극복력의 시각아날로그 척도(VAS) 값과 자아존중감이 높을수록, 가족관계의 문제성이 적을수록 정신장애인의 극복력이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정신장애인의 극복력에 유의한 영향을 미치는 요인은 자아존중감, 극복력의 시각아날로그 척도(VAS), 약물중단과 과거직업으로, 총 설명력은 31.8%이었다. 이는 정신장애인의 극복력 향상을 위해서 자아존중감 향상 프로그램 및 약 복용 여부 관리와 직업재활 등의 사회적 지원이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study was done to identify the degree of about people with mentally disabled resilience, factors influencing resilience and on this basic develop nursing intervention that will help enhance resilience of people with mentally disabled. The subjects were 200 who were diagnosed in accordance with DSM-Ⅳ at 6 medical institutes. Data were collected through a self-report questionnaires from April, 1 to May, 3, 2008 and analyzed by SPSS/ WIN 19.0 program, using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. The average of each variable are as follows: The subjects’ resilience 115.06±29.43, VAS of resilience 5.83±2.68, self-esteem 27.93±4.96, problem of family relations 24.40±12.27. Past occupation, religion, level of education, house state, others disease, and medication stop were found to be statistically correlated with subjects’ resilience. The subject’ VAS of resilience and self-esteem were found to be positively correlated with resilience. The subject’ problem of family relations were found to be negatively correlated with resilience. Multiple regression analysis showed self-esteem, VAS of resilience, past occupation, and medication stop affected people with mentally disabled resilience.
