소지역 추정방법을 이용한 구매액 예측에 관한 연구

국문 초록

최근 대형 할인점 간의 경쟁이 치열해짐에 따라 지역별로 고객을 차등화 하여 관리하는 지역단위 마케팅에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 이러한 마케팅에서는 소지역, 즉 읍ㆍ면ㆍ동이나 그 이하 단위에서의 구매액에 대한 파악이 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 소지역 추정방법들의 정확도 향상을 위해 소지역 단위의 인구통계학적인 국가통계를 보조변수(auxiliary variable)로 활용하였다. 실제 대형할인점의 구매자료로부터 여러 추정방법들을 활용하여 행정동 단위 구매액을 추정하고 비교, 분석하였다.

영문 초록

With the increased competition among large discount stores, the intensity of sales, marketing and location management has increased. As a result, the interest in marketing in a area units which manages customers based on region has subsequently increased. In order for such marketing to occur, the purchase amount for small areas, such as of town/township (myon)/dong must first be estimated. This study uses national statistical data to conduct estimates on the purchase amount by dong units using small area estimation methods. This study conducted a comparative analysis of direct estimator, synthetic estimator and composite estimator in order to estimate the purchase amount of each administrative dong unit of large discount stores.
