간호대학생들의 우울, 자아존중감 및 자아정체감이 시험불안에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생들의 시험불안에 영향을 주는 우울, 자아존중감, 자아정체감을 파악하기 위함이다. 연구 대상자는 졸업을 앞두고 있는 간호대학생 180명이었다. 수집된 자료는 빈도, 평균 및 표준편차, 피어슨상관계수(Pearson correlation coefficient), 위계적 중다회귀분석(hierarchical multiple regression)을 이용하여 분석하였고, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 간호대학생들의 우울정도는 45.96(sd=8.04), 자아존중감은 2.78(sd=.63), 자아정체감은 3.59(sd=.57), 시험불안정도는 2.35(sd=.75)이었다. 2. 간호학생들의 시험불안과 우울(r=.27, p<.01), 자아정체감 중 하부요인인 자기수용성(r=.24, p<.01)과 친밀성(r=.23, p<.01)이 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 3. 시험불안에 상대적으로 영향력을 가진 변인으로는 우울, 자아존중감, 자아정체감 중에서 자기수용성과 목표지향성이었다. 따라서 간호대학생들의 시험불안을 완화할 프로그램 개발이 필요하며 본 연구 결과가 시험불안을 감소시킬 수 있는 수업전략 및 불안감소 프로그램 개발에 필요한 기초 자료로 활용될 수 있으리라 본다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the effects of nursing students’ depression, self-esteem and ego identity on test anxiety. Method: The Subjects of the study were 180 nursing students before graduation from nursing college. The data were analyzed using Cronbach’s α, means, standard deviations, Pearson correlation coefficient, hierarchical multiple regression. Results: The results of this study were as follows: 1. The level of depression was 45.96 (sd=8.04), the level of elf-esteem was 2.78 (sd=.63), the level of ego identity was 3.59 (sd=.57), and the level of test anxiety was 2.35 (sd=.75). 2. Test anxiety showed significant correlation with depression (r=.27, p<.01), self-acceptance (r=.24, p<.01) and intimacy (r=.23, p<.01) of ego identity. The variables that affect test anxiety were depression, self-esteem, self-acceptance and goal orientation among the factors of self-identity. Conclusion : Test anxiety management program are also needed. This study provides a base supporting the development of various instructional strategies and test anxiety relief program.
