국문 초록

본 연구는 대학의 내부 및 외부 이해관계자들이 감가상각 정보를 활용하는데 영향을 미치는 감가상각제도의 특성변수를 탐색할 목적으로 수행되었다. 내부 및 외부 이해관계자의 감가상각정보 활용도와 감가상각제도의 특성변수는 설문조사를 통해 수집하였다. 감가상각제도의 특성변수는 이해관계자들의 감가상각에 대한 인식정도, 환경적 특성, 감가상각 정보의 유용성 및 효과 등을 의미한다. 회귀분석 결과 내부 이해관계자의 정보 활용도에 영향을 미치는 감가상각 특성변수는 감가상각 정보의 유용성 및 효과, 감가상각에 대한 관심, 대표자 특성, 행정직원 특성과 예산 및 자산관리이었다. 또한 외부 이해관계자의 정보 활용도에 영향을 미치는 특성변수로는 감가상각 정보의 유용성 및 효과, 행정직원 특성, 교육원가 및 성과측정, 예산 및 자산관리가 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과는 대학의 내부 및 외부 이해관계자들이 감가상각 정보를 활용하도록 하기 위해서는 감가상각 정보가 내부금융, 순자산유지, 적절한 교육원가 및 등록금 산정, 투명한 자산관리와 예산편성에 유용한 정보를 제공하고, 행정직원 교육 및 훈련, 충분한 인력과 예산 확보와 발생주의 회계의 도입 환경이 조성되어야 함을 의미한다.

영문 초록

This paper explores depreciation characteristics influencing in the availability of accounting information in Korean universities. We collect and measure depreciation characteristics and the availability of depreciation through questionnaire data. Depreciation characteristics mean the degree of perception in depreciation, environmental characteristics, the usefulness and effect of depreciation. Regression analysis shows that the depreciation characteristics influencing in the internal users’ availability of accounting information are the usefulness and effect of depreciation, understanding of depreciation, organizational characteristics (president and members), and budget and asset management. And, we find that the depreciation characteristics influencing in the external users’ availability of accounting information are the usefulness and effects of depreciation, members’ characteristics, educational costing and performance measurement, and budget and asset management. The results of this paper suggest that depreciation supplies internal or external users with the useful information for internal financing, maintaining net asset, proper figuring out of tuition costs, and transparent budget and asset management.
