국문 초록

본 연구는 반코마이신 내성장구균(Vancomycin Resistance Enterococcus, VRE) 감염관리에 대한 의료인의 지식, 인식도 및 수행도를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 B지역에 소재한 3개의 3차병원에 근무하고 있는 의료인 275명을 대상으로 하였다. 도구는 VRE에 관한 일반적 지식 10문항을 포함하여 코호트 관리 13문항, 손위생 8문항, 환경관리 10문항에 대한 지식과 인식도 및 수행도로 구성되었다. 자료분석은 SPSS WIN 17.0 program을 이용하여 기술통계, t-검정, 일원분산분석, 크루스칼-왈리스검정(Kruskal-Wallis test), 피어슨상관계수(Pearson correlation coefficient), 회귀분석을 이용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과는 VRE 감염관리 지식은 인식도(r=.383, p<.001) 및 수행도(r=.431, p<.001)와 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있었으며, 인식도는 수행도(r=.662, p<.001)와 통계적으로 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. VRE 감염관리 수행도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 주요 요인은 VRE 감염관리 인식도이며 결정계수는 .579이었다.

영문 초록

Purpose; This study was to analyse medical members’ - who were curing and nursing directly - knowledge, recognition and performance about VRE infection control. Method; The design of this study is descriptive research study. Respondents of this study were 257 medical members from senior general hospital in ‘B’ area. As for collecting data, a tool composed of 3 domains - knowledge, recognition and performance - had been used. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire and analyzed by using percentage, means, t-test, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis test, Pearson’s correlation, multiple-regression. Result; Knowledge about VRE infection control had a significantly positive correlation with recognition (r=.383, p<0.001) and performance (r=.431, p<0.001). Recognition about VRE infection control had a significantly positive correlation with performance (r=.662, p<0.001). Main factor influencing on VRE infection control performance significantly was VRE infection control and recognition. And coefficient of determination (adjusted R²) was 0.579 which explains 57.9%. Conclusion; It will have to enforce a continuous, systemic and practical education on knowledge and infection control of VRE. The education applied precept about nosocomial infection control to improve the medicine members’ level of practice for VRE infection control.
