간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념에 관련된 변인과 이에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악할 목적으로 시도되었다. 자료수집은 편의 추출에 의하여 지방 중소도시 3곳에서 4년제 1개 대학과 3년제 2개 전문대학에 재학중인 177명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 이루어졌다. 자료는 SPSS WIN 18.0을 이용하여 t-test, ANOVA, 상관관계 분석과 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과 전문직 자아개념은 평균 3.14±0.35로 중상위수준을 보였으며, 전공관련 특성의 이변량 분석에서 대인관계에 따라 전문직 자아개념과 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 간호이미지는 전문직 자아개념과 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 간호대학생의 전문직 자아개념에 영향을 미치는 요인은 전문적 이미지, 대인관계, 대학유형이었으며 총설명력은 24.6%이었다. 따라서 대학교육과정을 통하여 전문직 자아개념을 향상시키기 위해서는 바람직한 간호 상(象) 정립이 필요하며, 대인관계 능력을 향상시키는 전략이 요구된다고 하겠다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the professional self-concept of nursing students and the factors contributing to professional self-concept. Method: The data was collected from 177 nursing student in 2 local medium size-city and they were over 18 years of age. The data was done by structural survey through the 1:1 interview. t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze this data through the SPSS, WIN18.0. Results: The mean score of professional self-concept was 3.14 followed by the scores of professional practice 3.18, leadership 3.13, satisfaction 3.02, ethics 3.27. The degree of professional self-concept is different personal relationship. There was a positive correlation between professional self-concept and nursing image. The third factors that affect to professional self-concept, from the result of multiple regression by the stepwise selection, were image of nursing, personal relationship, college type. Conclusion: In order to improve professional self-concept of nursing students, a professional image of nursing needs to be enhanced and students need to improve interpersonal skills. A specific strategy would be to improve the nursing education environment including good role model by nursing educators.
