국문 초록

어떤 사이트의 홈페이지에 대한 고객들의 행태를 분석함으로써 해당 홈페이지의 장점 또는 단점을 파악할 수 있다. 이러한 장단점을 파악하기 위한 기법으로 웹마이닝 기법이 있다. 웹마이닝 기법은 웹사이트에 남겨진 웹 로그데이터를 분석함으로써 효율적인 홈페이지 관리 및 CRM(고객관계관리: customer relationship management)을 수행할 수 있다. ‘학과 홈페이지는 학과의 얼굴이다’고 할 수 있을 정도로 학과 홈페이지는 학과에 대한 많은 정보들을 포함하고 있다. 그렇기 때문에 학과 홈페이지의 역할은 재학생들에게 뿐만 아니라 대학에 들어오고자 하는 신입생에게도 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 웹마이닝 기법을 통하여 수시와 정시기간 동안 D대학교 D학과의 홈페이지에서 얻어진 웹 로그데이터를 분석함으로써 신입생 유치를 위한 입시 홍보 전략을 세우는데 기초적인 정보를 도출하는데 있다. 이를 위해서 D학과의 홈페이지에 대한 웹 로그데이터 분석을 수행하였고, 분석을 위한 툴로서 (주)넷스루에서 개발된 와이즈로그(WiseLog)를 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. (1) 종합적인 추이에서 평상시보다 입시기간에 학과 홈페이지를 많이 방문하는 것으로 나타났다. (2) 페이지 관점에서는 입시기간에 입시와 관련된 페이지를 많이 보고 있음을 알 수 있었다. (3) 시스템 운영적인 측면에서 입시기간에 에러가 많이 발생한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The web log data is traces which visitors remain while they visit in a web site. The webmining is a technique to analyze a homepage for obtaining a lot of useful information in the web log data. We can efficiently manage homepage and perform CRM (customer relationship management) by analyzing a homepage analysis using webmining technique. A department homepage contains various informations related with the department. So, a role of the department homepage is very important for both of students and freshmen. The purpose of this paper is to provide a basic information to manage efficiently homepage of D department of D university and to establish strategy for a freshman attraction. For this purpose, we analyzed D department homepage and used the wiselog package developed by the nethru company as a tool for analysis. Some results of this paper are as follows. (1) In overall trend, there were more visits to D department homepage in entrance period than in regular period. (2) From a page point of view, they saw many pages related with an entrance examination in an entrance examination period. (3) In aspect to system operating, errors more occurred in an entrance examination than usual period.
