국문 초록

본 논문은 전국에서 12년(1998년~2009년) 동안 관측된 바람자료를 사용하여 2010 한반도 바람자원 TMY(Typical Meteorological Year; 2010‘TMY)를 구축하고, 그 대표성을 평가한 것이다. 이를 위해 Finkelstein-Schafer(FS) 통계모형 하에서 2-단계 TMY 계산 알고리즘을 제안하여 12년 동안 관측한 바람자료에 적용하였다. 2-단계 계산 알고리즘의 첫 단계는 각 관측소의 바람개황을, 두 번째 단계는 한반도 전체의 바람개황을 차례로 대표할 수 있는 바람자원 통계를 구하는 계산절차이다. 알고리즘의 각 단계로부터 생산되는 통계들의 분석과 함께, 2010‘TMY와 12년 바람자료와의 비교분석도 실시하였다. 이러한 비교분석을 통해, 본 연구에서 구축된 2010’TMY가 12년 동안 한반도에서 관측된 바람자원의 변동특성을 대표할 수 있는 바람자료임을 보였다.

영문 초록

This study generates TMY (typical meteorological year) for wind resource of the Korean peninsula (or 2010’TMY) using 12 years (1998~2009) wind data observed at sites of Regional Meteorological Office (RMO). To this end, we adopted a two-stage TMY generating algorithm based upon the Finkelstein-Schafer (FS) statistical model. The first step of the algorithm calculates the statistics that explain the characteristics of wind resource at each site of the RMO, and then the second step consists of computing summary statistics for the characteristics of wind resource of the Korean peninsula based on the various statistics defined by the first step. We analyze and explain various statistics obtained from the application of the algorithm to wind data during the 12 years observed at sites of the RMO. A comparison between 2010’TMY and the 12-years wind data is also implemented. From the comparison, we see that 2010’TMY well represents the characteristics of the 12-years wind resource of the Korean peninsula.
