국문 초록

도시이미지는 도시 경쟁력 향상을 위한 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있으며, 그 중 도시경관 향상을 통한 도시이미지 제고의 중요성이 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 특히, 도시를 방문할 때 도시의 이미지를 가장 강하게 인식시킬 수 있는 요소인 관문경관은 도시의 차별성과 특징 등이 반영된 대표 요소이다. 관문경관은 도시의 첫 인상을 결정하고, 도시이미지 향상에 중요한 영향을 미치는 요소로써 이에 대한 검토가 요구되고 있다. 나아가 도시경쟁력 향상을 위하여 관문경관의 역할이 증대되고 있으며, 이를 통하여 도시이미지를 제고하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 부산시의 도시이미지 특화방안을 위하여 1차적으로 시민과 전문가를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 부산의 대표적인 관문경관이 도시이미지에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 파악하고, 2차적으로 관문경관의 만족도 조사를 통하여 부산시가 가지고 있는 관문경관의 문제점 및 개선방안을 제시함으로써 도시이미지 제고와 경쟁력 향상을 도모하고자 한다.

영문 초록

City image performs an important role in improving city competitiveness and significance of enhancement of city image through improvement of cityscape has come to the fore. Of these landscape elements, gateway landscape is a key element reflecting differentiation and features of city, which acts an element strongly expressing image of the city when people visit to or leave from the city. Thus, a systematic review on gateway landscape is required as it is an element deciding city’s first impression and having a major impact on the improvement of city image. Moreover, the role of gateway landscape has increased in city competitiveness, so this study intends to be of help in strengthening city image. With respect to a measure to specialize image of Busan, this study primarily conducted a survey targeting citizens and experts to comprehend how Busan’s representative gateway landscape affect the city image and investigated the level of satisfaction on gateway landscape secondarily for the purpose of strengthening image and improve competitiveness of city by suggesting problem of Busan’s current gateway landscape and its improvement plans.
