국문 초록

본 연구는 전산화단층촬영(CT)검사를 받는 환자를 대상으로 음악요법과 심호흡 이완법을 병행한 이완요법이 불안감소와 활력징후를 안정시키는지에 대해 규명함으로써 CT검사로 인한 심리적, 정신적 불안을 감소시킬 수 있는 간호중재를 제공하기 위하여 시도된 비동등성 대조군 사전 사후 유사 실험 연구이다. 연구대상자는 2009년 2월부터 3월까지 서울시에 소재한 K종합병원의 CT검사실에서 조영제를 사용하여 CT검사를 받는 20세에서 80세까지의 외래환자 59명(실험군 30명, 대조군 29명)을 편의표본 추출하여 선정하였다. 연구결과, 음악요법과 심호흡 이완법을 병행한 이완요법이 CT검사 대상자의 불안 감소 및 활력징후 안정에 효과적인 간호중재로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 제한점에도 불구하고 임상실무의 간호중재 개발에 초점을 둔 연구이므로 추후 외래와 입원검사 대상자들에게 시행하는 다양한 진단적 검사에 확장하여 적용함으로써 그 효과를 입증하고 임상간호실무의 근거축적을 위한 반복연구를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Propose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of relaxation therapy which is combined with music therapy and deep breathing relaxation on anxiety and vital signs of patients who are undergoing CT scan. Methods: This study was designed with non-equivalent control group pre-post test design, and subjects were 59 patients(30 with experimental group, 29 with control group) who visited a hospital located in Seoul for CT scan from february 23 to march 25, 2009. Used evaluation tools were Spielberger’s State Anxiety Inventory(SAI), Visual Analog Scale for anxiety(VAS-A), and measured vital signs. Results: The average scores of ’state Anxiety’ was statistically different between the experimental group and the control group(t=2.698, p=.009). The average grade of ‘VAS-A’ was also statistically different(t=3.224, p=.002). The systolic blood pressure(t=2.170, p=.034) and pulse rate(t=2.115, p=.039) were differences statistically but the average diastolic blood pressure did not show significant differences. Conclusion: Relaxation therapy which is combined with music therapy and deep breathing relaxation may serve as an effective and evidence based nursing intervention for patients undergoing CT scan.
