인터넷 중독실태와 정보윤리교육

국문 초록

정보화사회는 문화ㆍ사회ㆍ경제 활동의 대부분이 사이버공간에서 이루어진다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 인터넷 사용이 급증함에 따라 정보화의 순기능과 함께 역기능도 증가하고 있으며 정보윤리교육의 필요성도 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 정규교육과정에서 정보윤리교육이 어느 정도 이루어지고 있는지 조사하고, 대학생들의 인터넷 중독 실태를 조사 분석하고, 정보윤리교육과의 연관성을 알아보고자 한다. 정규교육과정에서 정보윤리교육이 위계적으로 잘 이루어지고 있다고 보기는 어려우며, 킴벌리영의 척도와 K-척도를 사용한 인터넷중독 조사에서는 과반수이상의 대학생들이 일상생활장애 영역에서 잠재적 위험군으로 분류되었다. 또한 사전 사후 비교검정에서는 킴벌리영의 척도와 K-척도의 일상생활장애와 내성에서 유의한 결과를 나타내므로 정보윤리교육의 필요성에 대한 근거도 제시할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The majority of culturalㆍsocialㆍeconomic life is fulfilled in cyberspace. Because a sudden increasing of using internet increases the opposite function of information society, the necessity of internet ethics education is increased. The purpose of this study is to investigate internet addiction and internet ethics education. A regular curriculum of internet ethics education in primaryㆍsecondary school is not hierarchic. We use Kimberly Young-scale and K-scale to diagnose internet addiction. Many students in university are belong to the group of potential addiction and the group of incipient addiction. Because the paired t-test of before and after in internet ethics education are significant, internet ethics education is effective to reduce internet addiction. In conclusion, we suggest the necessity of internet ethics education in university.
