만성정신질환자의 구강건강 상태, 지식 및 실천행태에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 만성정신질환자들의 건강증진 및 삶의 질 향상을 도모함에 중요한 구강건강을 향상시킬 수 있는 중재방안을 마련하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 시도되었다. 구강건강상태는 우식경험영구치지수, 평균치면세균막지수 및 구취지수로 측정하였으며, 구강건강지식과 구강건강실천행태는 설문지를 통해 측정되었다. 본 연구결과 정신질환자들의 구강건강상태에서 우식경험영구치지수는 14.11±5.38점, 평균치면세균막지수 1.71±1.10점, 구취정도 3.85± 1.43점이었고, 구강건강지식의 평균점수는 3.72±0.60점, 구강건강실천행태는 3.13±0.69점이었다. 구강건강실천행태에 영향을 미치는 유의한 변수는 주관적인 구강건강상태(β=0.20, p=0.006), 정기적인 치과검진(β=0.26, p<0.001), 양치횟수(β=0.28, p<0.001)와 구강건강지식(β=0.30, p<0.001)으로 나타났다. 이러한 영향요인들이 대상자의 구강건강실천행태를 37.0% 설명할 수 있음이 확인되었다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study is to investigated the status, knowledge and practice of oral health, and identifying factors influencing the practice of oral health in patients with chronic mental disorders. The examination and questionnaires survey were done 133 patients with chronic mental disorders in certain areas from Oct 10, 2014 to Nov 30, 2014. As for the practice oral health, there was statistical significance (p<0.05) according to exercise (t=3.09, p=0.002), perceived oral health status (F=3.06, p=0.003), oral health education (t=2.56, p=0.012), dental check-ups (t=5.12, p<0.001), scaling (t=3.81, p<0.001), brushing times for day (F=9.67, p<0.001) and subjective oral dryness (F=4.25, p=0.007). The practice of oral health in patients with chronic mental disorders was significantly correlated with brushing times for day (r=0.42, p<0.001) and knowledge of oral health (r=0.38, p<0.001). The significant predictors of practice of oral health for patients with chronic mental disorders were perceived oral health status (β=0.20, p=0.006), dental check-ups (β=0.26, p<0.001), brushing times for day (β=0.28, p<0.001) and knowledge of oral health (β=0.30, p<0.001), which explained 37.0% of variance in practice of oral health.
