복합표본조사로 얻어진 인체모니터링 데이터의 통계분석법

국문 초록

국민의 환경유해인자에 대한 노출을 평가하기 위하여 국가단위로 생체시료 중 유해물질 농도 수준을 파악하는 인체모니터링(biological monitoring) 조사가 선진국을 중심으로 널리 실행되고 있다. 인체모니터링 조사데이터는 복합표본조사를 통해서 얻어지고 있으며, 우리나라의 국민환경보건기초조사는 이와 같은 인체모니터링조사의 대표적인 사례 중 하나이다. 인체모니터링 조사에서 주요 유해물질 농도 수준은 기하평균을 통해서 산출하고 있다. 복합표본조사를 통해서 얻은 데이터를 정확하게 분석하기 위해서는 추정 및 가설검정 과정에서 복합표본설계 특징을 반영하여 분석해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 제 1, 2기 국민환경보건기초조사 자료를 분석하여 기하평균에 미치는 설계효과와 집락내상관계수를 산출하고, 이를 통해서 기하평균에 대한 신뢰구간과 가설검정 방법을 살펴보았다.

영문 초록

Biological monitoring research aims to determine the national concentration levels of hazardous substances in biological samples to assess their exposure to harmful environmental factors of the people. The Korean national environmental health survey (KoNEHS) is a prime example of biological monitoring survey conducted through a complex sampling design. In order to accurately analyze the survey data obtained through the complex sample survey, it is needed to reflect the characteristics of the complex sampling design in the process of estimation and hypothesis testing. The main concentration levels of hazardous substances in the human body monitoring surveys are calculated by the geometric mean. The present study analyzes the 1st and 2nd phase KoNEHS data using the design effect and intra-cluster correlation coefficient, the confidence intervals and hypothesis testing methods for the geometric mean.
