국문 초록

Bhattacherjee의 기대일치모형은 온라인 서비스 지속사용을 성공적으로 설명했다. 이 모형은 대상 서비스 사이트의 수용 후에 나타나는 기대일치와 인지된 유용성, 만족과 같은 사용자 평가들이 향후 사용 행위의 중요한 선행 요인들이라고 가정한다. 기대일치모형은 인지된 즐거움과 후회와 같은 새로운 평가 변수들의 추가를 통해서 확장되었다. 그러나 과거 사용 행위가 이러한 평가 변수들에 미치는 효과를 조사한 연구는 드물다. 이런 지식 공백을 메우기 위해서 본 연구는 자아인식이론을 기반으로 과거 사용의 기대일치모형 관점에서 도출된 주요 변수들에 대한 피드백 효과를 밝히는 연구모형을 제안하고자 한다. 제안한 연구모형은 온라인 소셜 네트워크 사이트를 이용한 255명의 응답자 표본으로 검증되었다. 분석 결과, 과거 사용의 피드백 메커니즘과 후회의 지속사용 의도에 대한 부정적인 효과가 증명되었다. 마지막으로, 본 연구의 학문적, 실무적 시사점들이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

Bhattacherjee s expectation confirmation model has successfully explained online service usage behavior. The model hypothesizes that users evaluations involving confirmation, perceived usefulness, and satisfaction are key antecedents of their future usage behavior. Two new evaluation variables, perceived enjoyment and regret, expanded the model. Yet, few studies have explored the effects of past usage behavior on these evaluation variables. In order to fill this knowledge gap, this paper attempts to propose a research model that investigates the feedback effects of past use on key variables derived from the expectation confirmation modeling perspective. We empirically tested the proposed model in the context of online social network site usage. Our analysis results demonstrate the feedback effects of past use and the negative effect of regret on continuance intention. Lastly, theoretical and practical implications are discussed.
