국문 초록

한국의 대 베트남 직접투자는 2007년 현재 누적기준 제4위 투자국이다. 그러나 한편으로 이렇게 베트남에 투자한 많은 기업이 현지 정보의 부족이나 베트남의 치열한 경쟁 환경 때문에 진출과정이나 운영과정에서 적지 않은 어려움을 겪고 있는 것도 사실이다. 따라서 본 연구는 베트남에 투자하고 있는 한국기업들의 현황, 투자동기, 경영성과, 경영실태를 파악하여 그들 기업들의 성공률과 경영성과를 개선하기 위한 참고자료를 제공함으로써, 기업과 정부의 대 베트남 투자전략수립에 정확한 판단근거와 접근방향을 제시하는 것이 목적이다. 결론적으로 베트남에 진출하고자 하는 기업은 철저한 사전조사 및 장기계획의 수립, 투자목적의 구체화, 파트너에 대한 철저한 조사, 현지의 제도·관습 등의 분석 등이 선행되어야 하며 기타 외환의 부족이나 내수기반의 취약, 원부자재 조달의 어려움, 관료적·경직적 행정체계 등과 같은 베트남의 특성을 잘 파악해야 하는 것이 과제이다.

영문 초록

The Vietnam is considered as the 4th ranked country, among the countries that Korean has invested in (at the end of 2007). But the korean companies entering into Vietnam have suffered from lack of information about Vietnam. Lot of companies that have invested in Vietnam have the difficulties in management due to the highly competitive environment. In this study, I surveyed about current status, motivation, performance of the korean companies that have invested in Vietnam. Based on the result, I tried to suggest the success key factors for those companies. And I tried to offer the information for investment strategy and approach for investment and expansion in Vietnam. Finally, the korean company entering into Vietnam must survey the following subjects: the perfect pre-analysis about the business item, making long-term plan, the embodiment of investment purpose, the close inquiry of partner and the analysis of local rule. And the companies must consider the following problems : the lack of foreign exchange, the difficulty of raw material supply and bureaucratic and inflexible posture of Vietnam administration system.
