부산시 마을버스 수송실적자료 추계 방법과 분석

국문 초록

대중교통수단 수송실적은 대중교통정책의 수립, 시행, 평가를 위한 가장 기초적 자료이나, 대개의 경우 시간과 비용의 한계로 전수조사가 불가능하여 표본조사를 시행하나, 조사방법이나 수송실적의 추정방법에 관한 연구는 매우 미약한 실정으로, 일반적으로 수단과 수요특성이 고려되지 않은 개략적인 수송실적 추정법에 따라 수송실적을 산정하고 있어 신뢰성 있는 추계값을 획득하지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 버스나 마을버스와 같은 대중교통수단 수송실적의 추계방법 제시를 목적으로 하였다. 제시된 추정방법은 기존 방법의 미비한 문제점을 보완하여, 대중교통수요의 전형적인 특성인 요일별과 월별 변동요인을 고려할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 제시된 추계방법을 부산시 마을버스 승하차 조사자료에 적용하고 수송실적을 추정하였으며 그 결과치의 통계적 신뢰성을 검정하였다.

영문 초록

Reliable ridership data or information for public transit systems is crucial for establishing and implementing rationally the public transit plans and policies. Due to the time and cost involved resulted form a huge number of target data, the ridership information is usually gathered by sampling method. Yet not so many studies or discussions about the sampling method or the estimating method with which one can consider the characteristics of transit demand have been conducted so far, and hence there are no rational method for expanding the sampled ridership data especially for bus or minibus systems in Korea. This study suggests a method of expansion of the sampled ridership data that can consider the typical transit demand characteristics. The suggested method could produce the more precise ridership estimation when compared with the existing method. The method is applied to the passenger count data for minibus system in Busan and produce the estimated number of average passengers per day for each route. The estimated numbers are statistically validated by comparing with those of the traffic card data.
