국문 초록

본 연구는 사회적기업의 사회적가치와 정부지원금이 경제적성과에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구를 위하여, (사)경제정의연구소의 좋은 사회적기업상에 2015년부터 2017년까지 3번 연속 선정된 24개 사회적기업을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적기업의 윤리적가치가 경제적성과에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적기업은 영리와 비영리 두 가지 성격을 지니며 공익적가치와 윤리적가치, 경제적가치 실현에 대한 목적을 가지고 있다. 특히, 윤리적가치 실현이 경제적성과에 중요한 요인으로 작용함에 따라 사회적기업의 윤리적가치 창출을 위한 윤리경영실천 노력, 이해관계자의 다양성과 민주적인 의사결정구조를 확보하는 것이 필요하며, 이러한 노력은 향후 기업의 지속가능성 확보차원에서도 중요한 요인으로 작용할 적으로 판단된다. 둘째, 정부보조금이 사회적기업의 경제적성과에 부분적으로 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 정부지원금 중 전문인력지원사업이 경제적성과에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타남에 따라, 사회적기업에 대한 정부지원금 기준을 명확히 하고 경제적ㆍ사회적성과 창출을 위한 실질적인 지원정책을 마련할 필요가 있을 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify social values and the economic effects of government subsidies. For the purpose of the study, 24 social enterprises selected three times in a row from 2015 to 2017 were selected in the good social enterprise award of the Economic Justice Institute. The results of the study are as follows. First, the ethical value of social enterprises has been shown to affect their economic performance. Social enterprises have profitable and non-profitable nature and have the purpose of realizing the public value, ethical value and economic value. In particular, diversity of stakeholders to realize ethical value, democratic decision-making structure and ethical management practice are important factors, and efforts to create ethical values will also be important factors in securing social enterprise sustainability. Second, government subsidies were found to have a partial effect on the economic performance of social enterprises. As professional human resources support projects are shown to affect economic performance, it is deemed necessary to clarify the criteria for government support for social enterprises and to develop practical support policies for economic and social achievement.
