창의력 신장을 위한 대학의 예술체험교육 설계 모형

국문 초록

현대사회가 요구하는 창의적·융합적 인재를 양성하기 위해 최근의 대학교육은 창의적이고 융합적인 사고를 필수 역량으로 키우고자 한다. 따라서 국내외 대학에서는 체험을 통한 창의적·융합적 사고의 배양을 위해 기초교양교육이 가지는 역할의 중요함을 인식하고 이와 관련된 다양한 교과목 개발을 시도하고 있다. 본 연구는 무용을 활용한 체험교양교과 ‘춤 이야기’의 사례를 바탕으로 예술체 험교육의 방향성을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 체험교양교과 ‘춤 이야기’는 춤을 통한 창의적 문제해결 능력 증진과 체험과정을 통해 학생들이 사회를 바라보는 시각의 변화와 정신적인 성장을 유도하는 교과목이다. 그 목적을 달성하기 위해 설계된 교육과정은 4주 이론수업, 10주 토론과 소통을 통한 창의적 작품 구상 및 완성 그리고 마지막으로 1주 작품 발표이다. 그리고 전체 교육과정의 키워드는 자발적, 주도적, 토론, 참여 및 소통이다. 그 결과 ‘춤 이야기’ 교과목은 이론수업을 바탕으로 몸 감각이 지식과 밀접한 관련이 있음과 일상생활과 춤의 밀접한 관계를 인식하였으며, 직접 몸으로 실행하여 갇혀있는 지식이 아닌 몸으로 느끼고 발현되는 지식이 되도록 하였다. 무엇보다 중요한 것은 학생들이 주도적으로 수업을 이끌어 나감으로써 창의력 신장 뿐 아니라 자신감과 성취감까지 높여 사회에 대한 적응력 함양에까지 영향을 주었다. 그리고 토론과 협업을 통해 서로를 이해하고 배려하도록 유도하여 인성 발달에도 큰 도움이 되었다. 현재 교육계는 창의력 함양의 관점에서 다양한 예술분야의 활용에 대한 중요성 을 인식하고 있다. 그러나 예술체험교육에서 음악과 미술의 활용 비중은 높지만 몸을 활용하여 몸 감각을 익히는 춤과 관련된 교과목의 비중은 적다. 이러한 관점에서 춤 혹은 몸을 활용하는 예술체험교과목의 영역을 개발하고 확대할 필요성이 있다. 그리고 다양한 예술체험교과목의 사례를 바탕으로 한 학술적 연구가 필요하다 하겠다.

영문 초록

In order to cultivate the creative and convergent talented person required by modern society, the recent university education aims to develop creative and convergent thinking as essential competence. Therefore, universities in Korea and abroad are aware of the importance of basic liberal education to cultivate creative and convergent thinking through experience and try to develop various related subjects. The purpose of this study is to explore the direction of the art experience education based on the case of ‘Dance Story’ which is an experience liberal education utilizing dance. Experience liberal education ‘Dance Story’ is a subject that encourages students to change their viewpoint and spiritual growth through the process of enhancing their creative problem solving ability through dance and experiencing process. The curriculum designed to achieve the purpose consists of four weeks of theoretical classes, 10 weeks of creative work design and completion through discussion and communication, and finally one week of work performances. And the keywords of the whole curriculum are voluntary, initiative, discussion, participation and communication. As a result, based on the theoretical lesson of ‘Dance Story’, the students recognized that the body senses are closely related to knowledge and the close relationship between daily life and dance. And it was done by the body, so that it became the knowledge to be expressed and expressed by the body, not the confined knowledge. Most importantly, as students lead the class, they have not only increased their creativity but also their self-confidence and achievement, which has influenced their adapt ability to society. And the students received a lot of help for human nature development by inducing the understand and care for each other through discussions and collaborations. Recently, the education community have recognized the importance of usage for various art fields in terms of creativity cultivation. However, the use of music and art in the arts experience education is high, but the proportion of the subjects related to dancing that uses the body to learn the body senses is small. From this point of view, there is a need to develop and expand the areas of art experience subject that utilize dance or body. Also, it is necessary to conduct academic research based on examples of various artistic experience subjects.
