임상실습 중 간호대학생이 경험한 병원 내 폭력, 간호사의 무례함이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 간호대학생이 임상실습 중 경험한 병원 내 폭력, 간호사의 무례함, 진로정체감을 확인하고, 병원 내 폭력과 간호사의 무례함이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상자는 G도와 K도에 소재한 대학의 간호학과에 재학 중이며, 1년 이상 임상실습의 경험이 있는 간호대학생 109명을 대상으로 하였다. 자료 수집은 2018년 5월 4일부터 2018년 5월 17일까지 시행되었다. 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차, Independent t-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Correlation, Stepwise multiple regression을 이용하였다. 연구결과, 간호대학생이 경험한 병원 내 폭력은 언어적 폭력이 2.38±1.02로 가장 많았으며, 신체적 폭력은 1.36±0.73으로 가장 적었다. 간호사의 무례함은 평균 5점 만점에 2.42±0.75점이었으며, 진로정체감은 4점 만점에 2.48± 0.50점으로 나타났다. 간호대학생이 경험한 병원 내 폭력, 간호사의 무례함, 진로정체감 간의 상관관계를 파악한 결과, 진로정체감은 간호사의 무례함과 음의 상관관계(r=-.26 p=.007)가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 진로정체감의 영향요인은 전공만족도(β=.58, p<.001), 간호사의 무례함(β=-.20, p=.001), 입학동기(β=.18, p=.017), 연령(β=.14, p=.044)이었으며 53%의 설명력을 나타냈다. 본 연구는 임상실습 중 간호대학생들의 간호사 무례함 경험을 감소시키기 위해 교육기관과 병원 간의 협력과 체계적인 노력이 필요하며, 간호사의 무례함에 대한 대처능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 교육 프로그램 제공이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study is a descriptive research study to identify violence in hospitals, nurses’ rudeness, career identity, and the effects of violence in hospital and nurse’s rudeness on career identity experienced during nursing university students clinical practice. The subjects of this study were 109 nursing college students who were attending the nursing department of the university located in G and K, and who had experience of clinical practice for more than one year. Data collection took place from May 4, 2018 to May 17, 2018. Data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Correlation and Stepwise multiple regression using SPSS/ WIN 23.0. The results revealed that violence in hospitals experienced by nursing students was 2.38±1.02 for verbal violence and 1.36±0.73 for physical threats. Student nurses’ experience of incivility was 2.42± 0.75 on the average of 5 points, and career identity was 2.48±0.50 on the 4 points. Career identity was negatively correlated with nurses’ incivility(r=-.26 p=.007). The factors affecting career identity were major satisfaction(β=.58, p<.001), nurses’ incivility(β=-.20, p=.001), motivation for admission(β=.18, p=.017), age(β=.14, p=.044), and they explained 53% of the total variance of career identity of nursing students. This study suggests that cooperation and systematic efforts between educational institutions and hospitals are needed to reduce the nurses’ incivility experience of nursing students during clinical practice, and it is necessary to provide educational programs for nursing students that can improve the coping strategies with civility.
