초·중학교 전환기 삶의 만족도 변화양상에 대한 종단연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초·중학교 전환기 청소년 삶의 만족도와 생태체계 요인의 시간 흐름에 따른 변화양상을 살펴보고, 삶의 만족도에 미치는 생태체계 요인의 종단적 영향력을 규명하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 한국청소년정책연구원의 한국아동·청소년패널조사(KCYPS) 초 4 패널 3차 년도(초 6) 부터 5차 년도(중 2)까지의 데이터를 활용하였다. 잠재성장모형을 이용하여 분석한 결과, 첫째, 초·중학교 전환기 청소년 삶의 만족도, 부모 애착외상, 집단 괴롭힘 피해, 학업성취 만족도와 학교적응은 초등학 교 6학년 부터 중학교 2학년까지 시간 흐름에 따라 통계적으로 유의미하게 변화하는 양상을 보였으며, 삶의 만족도, 집단 괴롭힘 피해, 학업성취 만족도, 학교적응의 초기치와 변화율에 개인차가 있었다. 둘째, 초·중학교 전환기 학업성취 만족도 초기치와 학교적응 초기치는 이 시기 청소년 삶의 만족도 초기치에 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 발달심리학과 생태체계적 관점을 갖고 초·중학교 전환기 청소년 삶의 만족도에 대해 실증적으로 규명한 종단연구로써 청소년 삶의 만족도 변화를 긍정적으로 제고하기 위한 교육과 상담에 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the changing trajectories of life satisfaction and ecological-system factors of adolescents during the elementary-to-middle school transition period and the longitudinal influence of ecological-system factors on the change of their life satisfaction. The subjects of this study were 2,378 fourth-year elementary school students, taken from KCYPS beginning in 2010. To measure life satisfaction, parent attachment trauma, bullying victimization, academic achievement satisfaction and school adjustment of adolescents during the transition period, five different scales were used from the longitudinal panel data set. The collected data were analyzed by implementing Latent Growth Modeling Analysis. The major findings were as follows : First, life satisfaction of adolescents during the transition period, 3 ecological-system factors tended to decrease. There was a individual significant difference in the intercept and the slope of life satisfaction and 3 ecological-system factors. But, parent attachment trauma of ecological-system factors, tended to increase for 3 years. There was a individual significant difference in the intercept of parent attachment trauma, but no individual significant difference in the slope. Second, the intercepts of academic achievement satisfaction and school adjustment had a positive effect on the intercept of life satisfaction of adolescentsduring the transition period. This study revealed the importance of academic achievement satisfaction and school adjustment for the life satisfaction of adolescents for 3 years. over time. This study would have a significance in that it would provide some implications for future works such as educational intervention plan and counseling aimed at enhancing the life satisfaction of adolescents in transition.
