국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 K대학 유아교육과 재학 중 강점 탐구(AI, appreciative inquiry) 기법을 활용한 연구과정에 참여했던 중국인 유학생들이 졸업 후 본국에서 겪은 1년간의 삶을 살펴보기 위함이다. 또한 유학시절 연구과정에서의 경험과 배움이 이들의 삶에 어떠한 영향을 미치게 되었는지 알아보고자 한다. 연구 참여자들은 중국인 유학생 총 3명으로 현재 이들 중 2명은 중국에서 유치원교사로 일하고 있으며, 1명은 IT회사에서 마케팅 디렉터로 근무 중이다. 자료수집은 2017년 3월 17일～2018년 3월 18일에 걸쳐 이루어졌으며, WeChat을 활용한 문자 및 음성통화, 직접면담, e-mail 등을 활용하였다. 연구결과, 본국으로 귀국한 중국인 유학생들이 겪은 1년간의 삶의 과정은 크게 1) ‘낯익음’과 ‘낯섦’의 공존: 새로운 삶 시작하기, 2) ‘근무’와 ‘퇴직’간 생각의 넘나듦: 삶의 중심 잡아가기, 3) 미래의 삶 꿈꾸기, 그리고 다시 도전하기로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 교육적 시사점 및 추후 지원방향 등에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the life during their first year after returning to China of Chinese international students who participated in the process using the appreciative inquiry and to find out how the experience and learning in the process of studying abroad have affected their lives. Participants in this study were three Chinese international students, two of whom are working as early childhood education teachers in China, and one is working as a marketing director at an IT company. Data collection took place from March 17, 2017 to March 18, 2018. And data collection used text and voice calls using WeChat, interviews, e-mail, et al. The results are as follows: 1) The coexistence of familiar and unfamiliar : Starting a new life, 2) Crossing between work and retirement : Taking center of life, 3) Dreaming of future life, and challenging again. Based on these results, the implications and future directions of this study were discussed.
