고등학교 선택중심 교육과정 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 고등학교 선택중심 교육과정 연구 동향을 탐색하여 그에 따른 시사점을 얻는데 있다. 연구목적에 따라, 2018년 3월부터 5월까지 선택중심 교육과정 관련 주제어를 검색하여 자료를 수집하였다. 2000년부터 2017년까지 국내 선택중심 교육과정 연구 논문 총 116편(학위논문 50편, 학술지논문 66편)을 대상으로 연도(교육과정기)·유형(학위논문, 학술지논문), 주제(개발, 내용, 현황), 그리고 연구방법(문헌·이론연구, 양적연구, 질적연구)을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 선택중심 교육과정 연구 는 2000년 학술지논문을 시작으로 해마다 약 6.4편 이상 꾸준히 발표되었다. 특히, 2000년부터 2010년까지 7차 교육과정과 2007 개정 교육과정에서 발표된 논문 편수는 총 102편(학위논문 46편, 학술지논문 56편)으로 전체 논문의 약 87.9%를 차지할 만큼 비약적으로 증가하였음을 확인할 수 있었다. 주제별로 살펴보면, 현황연구 70편, 내용연구 27편, 개발연구 19편으로 현황연구가 압도적으로 많이 수행되는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로, 연구방법은 질적연구보다는 양적연구와 문헌·이론연구가 널리 사용되고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 선택중심 교육과정의 중요성과 필요성에 대한 이해를 넓히고 향후, 선택중심 교육과정 연구의 발전을 위한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore trends related to elective-centered curriculum research in general high schools. Through examining the previous research could be helpful to discuss the desirable way and implication of the research trends on elective-centered curriculum. According to research purposes, the subjects of the related to elective-centered curriculum in general high schools was searched and collected from March to May 2018. Based on the purpose of the study, a total of 116 domestic papers (50 dissertations for Masters and Doctorate, 66 scholarly journals) from 2000 to 2017 were analysed by year(period of national curriculum) and type(dissertation, scholarly journal), research subject(development, content, status) and research method(literary and theoretical study, quantitative study, qualitative study). Following analysis standards, First, if you look at it by year, the results showed that the number of research articles related to the elective-centered curriculum have presented constantly more than about 6.4 pieces every year from 2000 to 2017. In particular, from 2000 to 2010, the number of research papers related to elective-centered curriculum are 102(46 dissertations for Masters and Doctorate and 56 scholarly journals) between the 7th National curriculum and the 2007 revised curriculum, which increased sharply to about 87.9% of the total papers Second, if you look at the topics, with 70 status studies, 27 contents studies, and 19 development studies, current research is overwhelmingly conducted. Third, it was found that the methods of research are widely used by literature and theory and quantitative studies rather than qualitative ones. The study will be meaningful in that it can broaden the understanding of the importance and necessity of elective-centered curriculum and be used as a basis for the development of the elective-centered curriculum study.
