국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 장애인 대상 자원봉사가 행복감에 어떤 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 대학생의 장애인 자원봉사가 행복감에 미치는 영향에서 장애수용태도의 매개효과를 검증하기 위하여 실시되었다. 이를 위하여 부산광역시에 소재한 4년제 대학(5개교)에 재학 중인 남․여 학생 750명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이 중 불성실하게 응답했다고 판단되는 설문지 38부를 제외하고 총 712명의 자료를 결과분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 자료분석을 위해 SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 22.0 프로그램을 사용하여 구조방정식모형(structural equation modeling)으로 분석하였다. 연구결과를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 장애인 자원봉사는 행복감에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 대학생의 장애인 자원봉사는 장애수용태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 거부 및 긴장과 같은 부정적인 장애수용태도가 높을수록 행복감이 유의하게 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 부정적인 장애수용태도는 대학생의 장애인 자원봉사와 행복감을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 본 연구는 대학생의 행복감을 증진시키기 위한 대안을 마련하는데 있어 장애인 대상 자원봉사의 중요성을 부각시키는 객관적 자료를 제공했다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of disability acceptance attitude on the influence of volunteer work for the handicapped of university students on happiness. For this purpose, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 712 male and female students from 5 four-year universities located in Busan from April to May 2018. The data of this study was analyzed by structural equation modeling using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 22.0 programs. The conclusions of the study were as follows. First, the volunteer work for the handicapped of university students affected the happiness. Second, the volunteer work for the handicapped of university students affected the disability acceptance attitude. Third, the higher the disability acceptance attitude such as rejection and tension, the lower the happiness was significantly. Fourth, the negative disability acceptance attitude was found to mediate the volunteer work for the handicapped of university students and the happiness. Based on the results of this study, it is meaningful that this study provided objective data that emphasize the importance of volunteer work for the handicapped in preparing alternatives to improve happiness of university students.
