국문 초록

학교 통일교육은 처음으로 통일에 대해 접하거나 생각해 볼 수 있는 기회를 제공 받을 수 있는 계기가 되며, 학교 통일교육이 사회통일교육으로 이어지기 때문에 그중요성이 대단히 높다. 따라서 정부는 통일교육 연구학교를 선정하여 기존의 주입식 학습에서 벗어나 적절한 교수학습법에 대한 탐구, 학교 통일교육의 목표와 원칙, 방향에 부합하는 내용 제공에 대한 모범사례를 발굴하고 전 학교로 확산시키고자 노력 하고 있다. 본 연구는 학교 통일교육 연구학교를 중심으로 학교 통일교육의 방식과 교육내용을 분석하고 학교 통일교육의 발전방향을 제시해 보고자 하였으며, 네트워크 분석을 활용하여 통일교육 연구학교의 교육 내용과 방향을 살펴보았다. 통일교육 연구학교 총47개교를 대상으로 통일교육 내용을 분석해본 결과 초등학교는 프로그 램, 환경조성, 체험, 교육과정 등이 주요한 것으로 나타났으며, 중학교는 통일의식, 프로그램, 환경조성, 지역사회 등이 주요한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 고등학교는 참여, 네트워크, 통일의식, 체험활동 등이 주요한 것으로 나타나 학교급별로 학생들의 특성에 맞는 통일교육이 이뤄지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 환경조성, 북한에 대한 이해 부분에서는 다소 획일적인 모습이 나타나 이에 대한 개선이 요구되며, 교육과 정과의 연계는 더욱 강조되어야 한다.

영문 초록

The government actively pursues unification education and continues to emphasize its necessity. School’s reunification education ultimately leads to social reunification education, so it is highly regarded that the importance of school reunification education is extremely high. The purpose of this study is about contents Analysis of Reunification Education model of the School. Using network analysis, we analyzed the contents of the reunification education model of school. The result of elementary school has shown that reunification program, experience, education course are important things for reunification education. The result of middle school has shown that reunification awareness, programs, and local communities are important things for reunification education. The result of High school has shown that network, reunification rituals, experience activities are important things for reunification education. This study shows that the reunification educational research schools are operating programs for students would understand, think, and to make decisions effectively through these kinds of things which are the raise awareness of reunification, connection with united education and curriculum, meeting with North Korean defectors, network with local communities, utilize special organization, and so forth. And this study shows that unified educations emerge from the simple learning by rote with using various content, development of curriculum and other tries. Therefore, this study let us know that unified educations are trying to progress to promote democratic citizenship and communal spirit. This means that schools have to revise the teaching methods or directions for unified education so that the cases of research schools can spread to ordinary schools.
