국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 정서조절력과 유치원 적응간의 관계에서 유아교사의 언어적 통제 유형의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 만 3, 4, 5세 유아 240명을 대상으로 정서조절력과 유치원 적응을 측정하였고, 유아교사 48명을 대상으로 언어적 통제 유형을 측정하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS 23.0을 이용하여 기술통계, 상관분석 및 회귀조절분석을 통해 검증하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 먼저, 유아교사의 언어적 통제 유형은 유아의 정서조절이 유치원 적응에 미치는 영향을 조절하는 것으로 알 수 있다. 이를 구체적으로 살펴보면, 유아교사의 언어적 통제유형 중에서 인성적 태도의 값이 커질수록 적응적 정서조절이 유치원 적응에 미치는 적응적 조절력(+)의 영향을 약하게 하고, 부정적 정서조절이 유치원 적응에 미치는 적응적 조절력(-)의 영향을 강하게 한다. 그리고 유아교사의 언어적 통제유형 중에서 명령적 태도의 값이 커질 수록 부정적 정서조절이 유치원 적응에 미치는 적응적 조절력(-)의 영향을 약하게 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the moderating effects of the verbal control types of early childhood teachers on the relationship between the emotional regulation and kindergarten adjustment. The emotional regulation and kindergarten adjustment of 240 selected young children who were at the western ages of 3, 4 and 5 were measured, and the verbal control types of 48 selected early childhood teachers were measured as well. The collected data were analyzed by a statistical package SPSS 23.0, and descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and moderated regression analysis were utilized. The findings of the study were as follows: The verbal control types of the early childhood teachers moderated the influence that the emotional regulation of the preschoolers exercised on their own kindergarten adjustment. To be specific, the impact of adaptive regulation(+) that adaptive emotional regulation had on kindergarten adjustment became weaker when the early childhood teachers scored higher in personal attitude among verbal control types, and the impact of adaptive regulation that adaptive emotional regulation(-) had on kindergarten adjustment became stronger in the same case. When the early childhood teachers scored higher in imperative attitude among verbal control groups, the influence of adaptive regulation that negative emotional regulation exerted on kindergarten adjustment became weaker
