국문 초록

본 연구에서는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 유아교육공동체 구축 태도와 자녀교육에 대한 관심 변인으로서 부모교육 참여도 인식과 자녀와의 대화시간이 어머니-교사 협력에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 연구대상은 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 510명이 었으며 수집된 자료는 연구문제에 따라 MANOVA, 적률상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 통해 분석되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 어머니의 부모-교사 협력은 어머니의 연령에 따라 차이가 나타났으나, 각 하위변인에서는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았으며, 어머니의 학력에 따라 어머니-교사 협력의 하위 변인인 성인관계에서 차이가 나타났 다. 둘째, 어머니의 유아교육 공동체구축에 대한 태도, 자녀와의 대화시간, 부모교육 참여도 인식과 어머니-교사 협력 간에는 정적 상관이 있었다. 셋째, 어머니-교사 협력의 하위 요인에 미치는 상대적 영향력은 유아교육공동체 구축 태도가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 유아교육공동체 구축 태도 및 자녀와의 대화시간은 협력 총점과 하위 변인인 정보공유, 정보추구 및 성인관계 모두에 유의한 설명력을 보였으나 부모 교육 참여도 인식은 협력 총점에만 유의한 설명력을 보였다. 이를 토대로 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니와 교사 간 협력 증진 방안 모색을 위한 부모교육 등에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Current study aims to identify how maternal attitude toward establishing early childhood educational community, participation in parent education and conversation time with their young children affected on mother-teacher cooperation. The research participants were 510 mothers of young children. The data were analysed in terms of Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA), Cumulative Correlation and Multiple Regressions.  The research findings are as follows: Firstly, the overall score of mother-teacher cooperation were different depending on mothers’ age but each individual sub-factors of the cooperation were not affected by the mother’s age. “Relationship of grown-ups,” one of sub-factors of mother-teacher cooperation, was different depending on mother’s educational level. Secondly, maternal attitude toward establishing early childhood community, conversation time with their young children, participation in parent education have shown positive relationships with mother-teacher cooperation. Thirdly, maternal attitude toward establishing early childhood educational community was the strongest factor to affect on sub-factors of mother- teacher cooperation. Both maternal attitude toward establishing early childhood educational community and conversation time with their young children have demonstrated significant power in explaining total score and sub-factors of cooperation (e.g.  sharing information, seeking for information and relationship of grown-ups). On a while, mother’s participation in parent education has shown significant power of explanation only in total score of mother-teacher cooperation. The research findings have implied the strategies of parent education which can promote mother-teacher cooperation.
