국문 초록

본 연구는 스토리텔링을 활용한 협동적 동화 재구성 활동이 만 5세 유아의 의사소통능력과 사회적 유능감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 실험을 위하여 부산시 소재 M어린이집에 재원 중인 만 5세 유아 20명을 실험집단으로 만 5세 유아 20명을 통제집단으로 표집하였다. 스토리텔링을 활용한 협동적 동화 재구성 활동이 유아의 의사소통능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해서 이영자 외(1987)가 개발한 “사회적응행동 발달평가 검사도구”를 기반으로 하였고, 유아의 사 회적 유능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해서「사회적 유능감 검사도구」를 수정, 보완하여 사용하였으며, 약 17주 동안 스토리텔링을 활용한 협동적 동화 재구성 활동을 실시한 후 사후 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 실험집단과 통제집단 사이에 유 아의 의사소통능력과 사회적 유능감에 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 유아의 의사소통능력 하위 요소인 언어 이해, 표현, 읽기 쓰기와 사회적 유능감의 하위 요소인 사회적 활동성, 사회적 안정성, 협조성, 사회적 참여 및 사회적 규범에 대한 순응성, 지 도성에 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find the effect of the cooperative story reconstruction activities using storytelling on communication skill and social competency of 5-year-old-children. The subjects of this study were 20 5-year-old children from M pre-school located in Busan for the experimental group, and 20 5-year-old children from B pre-school located in Busan for the control group. The subjects of this study are as follows. First, the cooperative story reconstruction activities using storytelling have a positive effect on communication skill of 5-year-old-children and understanding of language, expression, reading, and writing improvement. Second, the cooperative story reconstruction activities using storytelling have a positive effect on social competency of 5-year-old-children and social activity, social stability, cooperation, social participation, autonomy, adaptability to social norm, and leadership as lower elements.
