유아교육공동체 구현을 위한 부모 역량 척도 개발

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육공동체 구현을 위한 부모 역량 척도를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 2016년 1월 8일에는 공동육아 전문가를 대상으로 그리고 2016년 1월 13일에는 유아교육 전문가들을 대상으로 2차례 FGI를 실시한 후 3차례의 내 용 타당도 검증을 통해 부모 역량을 최종적으로 도출하였다. 이를 근거로 역량별 지식, 태도, 실행 문항을 개발하여 예비조사를 실시한 후 2016년 12월 1일부터 10일까지 본 조사를 실시하였다. 본 조사에 활용된 자료는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 456명 을 대상으로 수집되었고, 이는 SPSS 18.0과 Mplus 7.1 프로그램을 이용하여 유아교육공동체 구현을 위한 부모 역량 척도를 개발하고 타당화하였다. 그 결과, 15개의 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 유아교육공동체 역량이 추출되었고, 이는 2개 요인인 동반자역할 수행을 위한 심리적 역량과 가치공유를 위한 사회적 역량으로 구성되는 것으로나타났다. 이에 대한 척도 양호도와 문항 양호도 모두 적절한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 척도가 유아교육공동체 구현을 위한 유아기 자녀를 둔 부모의 역량을 일관되고 타당하게 측정하는 척도임을 증명하였다. 이를 토대로 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점 및 추후 연구 방향 등을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop the Parental Competences Scale for Building Early Childhood Educational Community. For this purpose, through 2 times of FGI(Focused Group Interview) with early childhood education and community experts the elements of parents competence were extracted. The final draft of the scale consisting of 51 items from 17 elements of the parents’ competence was completed through checking steps with related field experts. Participants for the study included 456 mothers with young children. In order to measure reliability and validity of this scale, Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis were conducted with SPSS 18.0 version and Mplus 7.1 program. Results were as follows: first, two sub-factors like ‘psychological competence for practice of partnership’ and ‘social competence for sharing the key values’ were extracted. The distribution of item response and item discrimination were analyzed to evaluate item quality and the scale turned out to be good in those regards. Second, the reliabilities of the scale calculated by Cronbach’s α coefficients were above .93. Therefore, the scale was identified as a reliable and valid instrument for measuring parental competence for building early childhood educational community. The implications, limitations, and use of the scale were discussed.
