국문 초록

동시대 현대 미술교육은 그 내용과 방법의 측면에서 간학문적으로 접근할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 디지털 매체, 대중문화와 현대미술을 접목시켜 미술교육의 범위와 소재를 확장시킨다. 이에 본 연구는 이 시대 학습자를 위한 미술교육의 역할을 조 망하며. 미술교육의 주제로서 현대미술과 대중문화를 살피고, 방법적 측면에서 디지털 매체의 가능성을 짚어보려 한다. 먼저 현대미술은 융합적 사고를 통해 해석될 수 있다. 작품 속 삶, 문화, 정체성 등의 쟁점들은 연계된 타 학문들의 시각에서 새롭게 해석될 수 있다. 대중문화 역시 이에 대한 능동적인 해석과 이를 재해석한 표현을 학습하는 과정이 수반된다. 학습자는 현대미술과 대중문화를 통해 삶 속의 시각문화를 통한 미학적 경험을 하게 된다. 더 나아가 미술과 문화를 맥락적으로 해석하고, 문화속 사회, 문화, 정치, 경제에 대한 융합적 사고를 기를 수 있다. 디지털 매체의 활용은 학습자가 반성과 성찰 과정을 통해 창의적인 표현활동을 하도록 돕는다. 본 연구자는 현대미술과 대중문화의 간학문적 속성을 미술교육의 현장에 반영할수 있는 실제적 활동을 사범대학 예비교사들과의 수업에서 탐색해왔다. 본 논문에서는 그 중 융합미술교육의 내용과 방법을 고민한 아이디어 중 일부 사례를 제시하고 자 한다.

영문 초록

The intrinsic interdisciplinary attributes in art make possible the integrated education between arts and other subjects. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of art education for students of this era. This study examines contemporary art and popular culture as subjects of art education and tries to explore the possibilities of digital media in terms of method. Contemporary art can be interpreted through fusion or convergent thinking. The issues such as life, culture, and identity in the works can be interpreted from the viewpoint of other related disciplines. In the art education, mass culture also involves a process of learning based on active interpretation and reinterpretation of it. The learner experiences the aesthetic qualities through visual culture, contemporary art and popular culture in life. Furthermore, learners can interpret art and culture in a contextual way and foster creative ideas on culture, politics and economy in society. The use of digital media helps learners to express creative ideas through reflection and practice. I have explored the practical activities that can reflect the interdisciplinary attributes of contemporary art and popular culture in the field of art education in the classroom. In this paper, I will present some examples of the ideas that I thought about contents and methods of integrated art education.
