대학성인학습자의 사회적 자본, 학업적 자아개념 및 학업열의의 구조적 관계와 학습기간의 조절 효과

국문 초록

이 연구는 대학성인학습자가 인식한 사회적 자본, 학업자아개념 및 학업 열의의 구조적 관계와 그 관계에 대한 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구문제는 첫째, 성인의 사회적 자본, 학업적 자아개념, 학업열의의 구조적 관계, 둘째, 사회적 자본과 학업열의의 관계에 대한 학업자아개념의 매개효과, 셋째, 사회적 자본, 학업적 자아개념 및 학업열의의 관계에 대한 학습기간의 조절효과 분석이다. 연구대상은 J대학교 평생교육원 프로그램에 참여중인 성인학습자 595명이다. 변인 사이의 구조 관계 분석을 위해서 SPSS 21.0 및 Amos 21.0을 활용하였고, 매개효과는 Bootstrapping을 시행했으며, 조절효과는 다중집단분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 연구 문제와 방법으로 도출된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학성인학습자가 인식한 사회적 자본, 학업자아개념 및 학업열의는 관계가 있으며, 둘째, 대학성인학습자의 학업적 자아개념은 사회적 자본과 학업열의의 관계를 매개하고, 셋째, 성인학습자의 참여기간은 사회적 자본과 학업적 자아개념의 관계를 조절하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 대학평생교육기관 및 교․강사가 대학성인학습자들의 학업열의를 높이기 위하여 학업과정에서 사회적 자본 역량과 함께 학업적 자아개념 증진을 고려해야할 뿐만 아니라 단기학습참여자의 사회적 자본 역량을 향상시켜야함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship between social capital, academic self-concept, and academic enthusiasm perceived by adult learners at university and the moderating effect in the relationship. The problems of this study are as follows. First, what is the structural relationship among adult social capital, academic self-concept, and academic enthusiasm? Second, what is the mediating effect of the academic self-concept on the relationship between social capital and academic enthusiasm? Third, what is the moderating effect on the relationship among social capital, academic self-concept, and academic enthusiasm according to the learning period? The subjects of this study were 595 adult learners at J University Lifelong Education Center. For the analysis of the structural relationship between variables, SPSS 21.0 and Amos 21.0 programs were used, bootstrapping was conducted to analyze the mediating effect, and multiple group analysis was performed for the moderating effect. The research results perceived by adult learners at university are as follows. First, social capital, academic self-concept, and academic enthusiasm are related, second, academic self-concept mediates the relationship between social capital and academic enthusiasm, and third, the learning period is conformed to moderate the relationship between social capital and academic self-concept. These results suggest that university lifelong education institutions and teachers and instructors should not only consider promoting academic self-concept along with social capital capabilities in the academic process to increase the academic enthusiasm of university adult learners, but also improve the social capital capabilities of short-term learning participants.
