국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 학령기 자녀를 둔 익산지역 직장인 결혼이주여성들이 직장생활, 평생학습, 자녀 양육에서 겪는 어려움과 균형을 탐구하고, 사회적 통합과 자립을 위한 지원 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 연구문제는 “결혼이주여성들이 직장생활, 평생학습, 자녀 양육에서 어떤 경험과 도전을 겪으며, 이를 해결하기 위한 효과적인 지원은 무엇인가?”이다. 포토보이스 방법론과 해석학적 현상학을 활용해 결혼이주여성 8명의 경험을 사진 기록과 집단 토의로 분석하였으며, 삼각측정과 참여자 검토를 통해 신뢰성을 확보하였다. 결혼이주여성들은 직장에서 언어·문화적 장벽과 구직 지원 체계의 한계를 경험했으며, 평생학습은 자신감과 사회적 네트워크를 확대했으나 시간 부족과 돌봄 책임으로 참여가 제한되었다. 자녀 양육에서는 언어·문화적 차이를 극복하려는 노력이 확인되었고, 직장·학업·육아의 조화를 위해 시간 관리가 중요한 과제로 나타났다. 학습과 직업 활동은 심리적 안정과 지역사회 유대 강화에도 기여했다. 이 연구는 결혼이주여성들의 삶의 질 향상과 사회적 통합을 위해 언어교육, 평생학습 참여 확대, 자녀 교육 지원, 지역사회 기반 심리 지원 네트워크 구축의 필요성을 강조하며, 다문화사회의 지속 가능한 성장과 통합을 위한 기초 자료를 제공한다. 후속 연구를 통해 더 포괄적인 대안을 마련할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the challenges and balance experienced by marriage-migrant women in Iksan with school-aged children in their employment, lifelong learning, and parenting. It also aims to propose effective support measures to promote social integration and independence. The research question is: “What experiences and challenges do marriage-migrant women face in employment, lifelong learning, and parenting, and what effective support can address these issues?” The study utilized the photovoice methodology and hermeneutic phenomenology to analyze the experiences of eight marriage-migrant women through photographic records and group discussions. Triangulation and participant reviews were employed to ensure the reliability of the findings. The results revealed that marriage-migrant women faced linguistic and cultural barriers in the workplace, along with limitations in job support systems. Lifelong learning contributed to their confidence and expanded social networks, but participation was limited by time constraints and caregiving responsibilities. In parenting, efforts to overcome linguistic and cultural differences with their children were evident. Managing time to balance work, education, and childcare emerged as a critical challenge. Learning and employment activities also contributed to psychological stability and strengthened ties within the local community. This study emphasizes the need for language education, expanded participation in lifelong learning, support for children’s education, and the establishment of community-based psychological support networks to improve the quality of life and social integration of marriage-migrant women. It provides foundational data for the sustainable growth and integration of multicultural societies, highlighting the necessity of further research to develop more comprehensive solutions.
