수업 유형에 따른 모듈형 강의평가 체제 개발

국문 초록

대학의 교수학습법은 점차 다양화하고 있다. 본 연구는 이런 변화를 반영한 모듈형 강의평가 문항을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 수행된 사례 연구이다. D대학교 강의평가에서 현재 사용하고 있는 수업 유형을 미래지향적으로 재정립하고, 재정립된 수업 유형에 따른 강의평가 문항을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위해 11명의 전문가를 대상으로 한 2회의 델파이 조사와 11,156명의 재학생들을 대상으로 한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 새로 설정한 수업 유형은 모두 6개이다. 이 중 ‘강의식 수업, 토론/세미나 수업, 실험/실습/실기 수업’ 등 3개 유형은 필수모듈로, 나머지 3개인 ‘현장/임상 수업, 온/오프 블렌디드 수업, 온라인 수업(실시간, 녹화, MOOC 등)’은 선택모듈로 구분하였다. 모든 수업은 필수모듈에 포함된 3개 수업 유형 중 하나에 반드시 속하며, 수업에 따라 선택모듈에 포함된 3개 수업 유형에 포함되는 것이 가능하다. 필수모듈의 공통형-필수 문항 13개, 수업 유형별 맞춤형-필수 문항 각 4개, 선택모듈의 수업 유형별 맞춤형-선택 문항 각 5개 등으로 최종 강의평가 문항이 구성되었다. 모든 수업의 평가에 기본적으로 17개 문항이 적용되며, 교수자의 자율적 선택에 따라 선택 문항이 최대 2개 문항까지 추가될 수 있다. 강의평가 평균값 산출의 대상은 필수모듈의 척도형 문항 14개에 한한다. 많은 대학에서 수행하는 다양한 강의평가 체제, 강의평가 결과의 활용 방식에 대한 지속적인 탐색과 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

The teaching and learning methods of universities are gradually diversifying. This study is a case study conducted with the purpose of developing modular lecture evaluation system that reflect such changes. The purpose is to re-establish the class types currently used in D University's lecture evaluation in a future-oriented manner and to develop lecture evaluation items according to the re-established class types. To this end, two Delphi surveys targeting 11 experts and a survey targeting 11,156 college students were conducted. A total of six new class types were established through this study. Of these, three types, including 'lecture-style classes, discussion/seminar classes, and experimental/practical classes', were classified as mandatory modules, and the remaining three types, 'field/clinical classes, on/offline blended classes, and online classes (real-time, recorded, MOOC, etc.)', were classified as optional modules. All classes must belong to one of the three class formats included in the mandatory module, and depending on the class, it is possible to be included in three class formats included in the optional module. The final lecture evaluation items are composed of 13 common-required items for the required module, 4 customized-required items for each class type, and 5 customized-optional items for each class type for the optional module. 17 items are basically applied to the evaluation of all classes, and up to 2 optional items can be added according to the instructor's autonomous choice. The target of calculating the average lecture evaluation value is limited to 14 scale-type items for the required module. Continuous exploration and research on the various lecture evaluation systems implemented by many universities and on the utilization of lecture evaluation results are necessary.
