국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화 결혼 이민자 어머니의 부모참여에 대한 인식을 알아보고 실제로 자녀의 교육을 위해 실행하는 활동의 실제에 대해 알아보기 위하여 시행되었다. 이를 위해 사례연구법(Case Study)을 사 용하였으며 의도적 층화추출 표집(A stratified purposeful sampling) 방법을 이용하여 다문화 결혼 이 민자 어머니 5인을 선정하였다. 심층 면담법을 사용하여 자료를 수집하였고 각 어머니에게 총 3회씩 의 면담을 실시하였다. 첫 번째 면담에서는 반구조화된 질문지법을 사용하였고 두 번째와 세 번째 면 담에서는 구조화된 질문지법을 이용하였다. 수집된 자료는 계속해서 읽으면서 반복되는 패턴을 찾아 주제를 만들었다. 본 연구에서 어머니들은 유치원 뿐 아니라 가정에서 유아의 학업을 위해 부모가 돕 는 모든 활동이 부모참여라고 인식하고 있었으며 이에 맞게 부모참여활동을 실행하려고 노력하고 있 었으나 부모참여를 통해 도와줄 수 있다고 인식하는 활동과 실제 어머니들의 부모참여 사이에는 차이 가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the perception of multicultural immigrant mothers parent involvement to help their children s education. For this purpose, case study was used and 5 multicultural immigrant mothers were selected as study participants using A stratified purposeful sampling method. Three interviews were conducted with each multicultural immigrant mother using in - depth interview method to collect data. The semi - structured questionnaires were used for the first interview and the structured questionnaires were used for the second and third interviews. In order to analyze the collected data, the researcher continued to read to find recurring pattern and categorized. In this study, it was found that multicultural immigrant mothers perceived parent involvement from a comprehensive perspective. As a result, multicultural motherts perceived that parents participation in activities to support children s education in kindergarten as well as home was considered as parent involvement. However, there was a difference between the activities that the parents perceive to be able to help their children through their participation and the actual activities.
